This role sits at the intersection of sports data, live operations, product delivery, and stakeholder support - covering provider integrations, internal capture platforms, broadcast data feeds, and operational support for a 24x7 sports data environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nSports Data Integrations\nBuild, maintain, and support integrations with external sports data providers including, but not limited to Sport radar and Champion Data.\nSupport real-time and near-real-time ingestion pipelines for sports such as AFL, Netball, NRL, Cricket, Football, Basketball, Motorsport, and others as required\nMap provider data into internal schemas and publishing models used by APIs, widgets, broadcast systems, and internal tools\nInvestigate and resolve issues with incoming feeds, data quality, sequencing, match states, and downstream publishing\nSupport changes required when providers update feed structures, fields, or delivery patterns\nInternal Stats Capture Support\n\nSupport and enhance in-house stats capture systems used for sports including NRL and Cricket\nWork closely with the internal stats division to ensure captured data is correctly stored, validated, published, and displayed\nHelp maintain the tools and workflows used for live capture, correction, validation, and display of match statistics\nSupport internal users of capture and display systems during live events and operational windows\nAssist with issue triage, defect resolution, and continuous improvement of internal stats workflows\nBroadcast and Graphics Support\nSupport data delivery for OB graphics and related broadcast workflows, including integrations that feed systems such as Virtual Eye\nEnsure live and post-match data is available in the correct format and at the right time for on-air and production use\nTroubleshoot issues affecting graphics, overlays, scoreboards, and other production-facing data outputs\nWork with broadcast, production, and operational stakeholders to support live event requirements\nInternal Stakeholder Support\nSupport internal stakeholders across stats operations, editorial, digital, product, broadcast, and production\nHelp deliver and maintain data used in scoreboards, match centres, fixtures, ladders, player stats, breakdowns, and related sports experiences\nCollaborate with product managers, developers, QA, and operations teams to improve reliability and usability of stats products\nInvestigate and resolve data issues raised by internal users and business teams\nProvide technical support and clear communication during incidents, live issues, and post-event reviews\n\nPlatform Support, Operations, and On-Call\nSupport a 24x7 sports data platform that underpins live scores, statistics, capture, and broadcast data services\nParticipate in an on-call roster to support live and business-critical sports data systems outside standard business hours\nMonitor and respond to incidents affecting provider integrations, internal capture systems, publishing pipelines, and downstream consumers\nPerform production support, issue triage, root cause analysis, and service recovery during live sporting events\nSupport planned sporting calendars, peak event periods, and critical match windows where operational responsiveness is essential\nContribute to operational readiness, support documentation, and continuous improvement of platform reliability\nTypical Project Areas\nIntegrating and supporting Sportradar feeds for schedules, scores, standings, and player/team data\nIntegrating and supporting Champion Data Expertise\n Core Technical Skills\nStrong experience with Microsoft SQL Server\nStrong SQL skills including:\no query writing\no stored procedures\no views o triggers\no data investigation and troubleshooting\no performance-aware database development\nExperience working with .NET / C# applications\nExperience supporting or developing desktop applications used for operational or capture workflows\nExperience working with data integration services, import processes, and real-time or near-real time data pipelines\nExperience with XML, JSON, and API/data-feed integration patterns\nExperience troubleshooting production issues across application, database, and integration layers\nCI/CD and Github actions\nExpertise in EKS, Argo and AWS suite Sports Data / Platform Experience\nExperience working with sports data, live data feeds, or real-time integrations\nExperience integrating third-party providers such as Sportradar, Champion Data, or similar\nExperience supporting systems used in broadcast, graphics, digital sports products, or sports statistics platforms\nExperience supporting operational or live-event systems where timeliness and accuracy are critical\nAbility to work closely with internal operational stakeholders in high-pressure live environments .NET / Application Stack\nBased on the nature of the platform and internal tooling, the role
