End-to-end integration experience of microservices with frontend systems using RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture\n\nDatabase Management: Develop and maintain databases using MySQL 8.x, PostgreSQL 15+, and Redis 7.x for caching and session management, optimizing for performance, reliability, and implementing database migrations using Liquibase or Flyway\n\nAPI Development: Create and document RESTful APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger specifications for seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party services. Experience with API Gateway (Spring Cloud Gateway or Kong) , GraphQL is a plus\n\nFeature Release: Collaborate with product teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and implement new features following Domain Driven Design (DDD) principles, ensuring timely and successful releases\n\nBug Fixing: Troubleshoot and resolve bugs in a timely manner using Test Driven Development (TDD) approach, maintaining high standards of code quality and performance through comprehensive unit and integration testing\n\nApplication Updates: Regularly update applications implementing new features, addressing bugs, enhancing system performance, and following secure coding practices (OWASP Top 10 compliance) with production-quality code\n\nUpgrade Management: Manage upgrades of Spring Boot, backend databases, and cloud platform dependencies ensuring compatibility, improved performance, and maintaining zero-trust security architecture\n\nProduction Support: Work with operations team to monitor and troubleshoot production issues using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack/Splunk, Jaeger/Zipkin), participate in on-call rotations and conduct post-mortem analysis\n\nDeployment Automation: Deploy microservices using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), containerize applications with Docker, and orchestrate with Kubernetes (deployments, services, ingress, ConfigMaps)\n\nPerformance Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools (Micrometer, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) to analyze system performance, implement distributed tracing, and conduct performance testing using JMeter or Gatling based on metrics and feedback\n\nRequirements:\nDegree in Computing / Computer Science / Engineering preferred BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject with strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and system design\n\n4 to 6 years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot\n\nProficient in Java 17+ features (records, sealed classes, pattern matching, virtual threads) with deep understanding of JVM internals, garbage collection, and performance tuning\n\nHands-on experience with Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Framework 6.x, Spring Cloud, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Spring WebFlux (reactive programming)\n\nProficient in developing RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture patterns (API Gateway, Service Discovery, Circuit Breaker, CQRS, Event Sourcing)\n\nExperience with messaging and event streaming platforms (Apache Kafka 3.x, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS) and event-driven architecture patterns\n\nKnowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation)\n\nExperience with MySQL 8.x, PostgreSQL 15+, or similar relational databases.
