requirements.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nProduction Change Governance & Planning \nReview and validate Change Requests (CRs) before implementation to ensure:\nScope clarity and completeness.\nTechnical feasibility of implementation plans.\nAdequate risk, impact, and rollback assessments.\nCompliance with change governance standards.\nCoordinate with Application Support (L2/L3), Infrastructure, Middleware, Database, and Platform teams to resolve implementation dependencies and technical clarifications.\nVerify that all required technical, security, business, and change approvals are obtained before deployment activities commence.\nParticipate actively in Change Advisory Board (CAB), release readiness reviews, and implementation planning discussions.\nRelease & Deployment Execution\nExecute production and pre-production deployments strictly according to the approved Change Request. \nEnsure:\nNo deviation from approved implementation steps.\nNo unauthorized modifications during deployment.\nAll activities remain within the approved change window.\nPerform and manage manual deployment activities including:\nApplication releases and upgrades.\nConfiguration changes.\nMiddleware deployments and updates.\nDatabase script execution.\nSecurity and access-related changes.\nPassword-managed deployments utilizing privileged accounts.\nSupport deployment activities across multiple environments including Production, Disaster Recovery (DR), Pre-Production, and UAT where required.\n Privileged Access & Security Compliance\nOperate privileged accounts in accordance with CyberArk and Bank security standards.\nPerform:\nPassword withdrawal and return procedures.\nPrivileged Session Management (PSM) operations.\nSecure handling of functional and Type-C IDs.\nEnsure all deployment sessions are fully compliant with:\nAudit requirements.\nSession recording policies.\nEvidence retention standards.\nRegulatory controls.\nMaintain segregation of duties and ensure only authorized Release Engineers perform implementation activities.\nPost-Implementation Validation & Support\nPerform Technical Level Validation (Tech LV) after deployment completion.\nCoordinate Business Level Validation (Biz LV) with Application Support teams and business stakeholders.\nCapture and maintain deployment evidence, including:\nExecution logs.\nScreenshots.\nSession recordings.\nImplementation transcripts.\nAudit artifacts.\nSupport post-implementation reviews and identify opportunities for deployment automation and process improvement.\nProduction Stability & Incident Support\nProvide Level-1 operational support for release and deployment-related incidents.\nSupport recovery activities during:\nDeployment failures.\nBatch/job failures.\nProduction incidents.\nParticipate in production war rooms, incident bridges, and troubleshooting calls.\nEscalate risks, delays, and implementation failures promptly to Release Managers, Domain SMEs, and leadership teams.\nContribute to root cause investigations and corrective action initiatives.\nContinuous Improvement & Automation\nIdentify repetitive manual deployment activities suitable for automation.\nSupport adoption of CI/CD, DevOps, and release automation initiatives.\nMaintain deployment runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge repositories.\nParticipate in cross-training and knowledge-sharing activities to improve team fungibility and operational resilience.\nRequirements\nProduction Support, Release Management, Change Management, DevOps Operations, or IT Operations.\nExperience in Banking or Financial Services environments will be highly preferred.\nExposure to regulated production environments with strict governance and audit controls.\nTechnical Skills\nOperating Systems\nStrong foundation in Linux administration.\nWorking knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems.\nBasic shell scripting knowledge preferred.\nProduction Deployment & Platform Management\nExperience supporting application deployments across:\nProduction environments\nPre-production environments\nDisaster Recovery
