The role will focus on preparing the required testing toolset, including AI-powered test case generation, test data generation and other testing accelerators.\nThe candidate will be responsible fordesigning, developingand maintainingautomated testing capabilities covering test execution, validationand assertion, while ensuring that the required testing tools, environmentsand data are accurateand fit for purpose.\nKey Responsibilities\nUnderstand the testing strategy defined for the program and translate it into test plans, test scenarios, detailed test casesand test data patterns.\n\nCoordinate and execute functional and non-functional testing across Core Banking applications and integrated systems.\n\nPrepare and maintainthe required testing toolset, including AI-powered test case generation, test data generation and other testing accelerators.\n\nIdentifysuitable test cases for automation and continuously improve automation coverage.\n\nExecute testing across APIs, UI, file-based interfaces, messaging queuesand service mesh-based flows, across entire ecosystem of DBS applications.\n\nProperly track the progress on the preparation work, as well as on execution.\n\nCoordinate assigned testing activities with Business Analysts, Developers, Platform Teams, application teamsand business users.\n\nContribute to test-cycle completion reports, testing dashboardsand automation metrics.\n\nTake full responsibility and accountability for the quality and timelycompletion of assigned testing activities.\n\nRequirements\nAt least 10years of experience in software testing, including test leadership and hands-on test automation, in banking industry.\n\nStrong understanding of Core Banking systems, business processes, architecture, functionalityand data structures.\n\nKnowledge and experience with theSunCBSsolution by Sunline, including its architecture, functionality, data structuresand integration patterns.\n\nKnowledge and experience with Finacle by Infosys as a Core Banking framework, including its architecture, functionality, data structuresand integration patterns.\n\nKnowledge and experience in testing against mainframe-based systems, would be strong advantage.\n\nExperience in preparing test plans, test scenarios, detailed test cases, automated scriptsand traceability matrices.\n\nHands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Karate, Postmanor similar.\n\nGood understanding of AI-assisted software testing, test case generation, test data generation and test automation tools.\n\nExperience in prompt engineering, to use AI to ensure comprehensive testing scope coverage and robust assertion of success criteria.\n\nExperience working with service mesh architecture, microservices architecture and distributed systems, mainframe technology.\n\nExperience testing APIs, databases, batch processes, messaging queuesand enterprise application integrations.\n\nStrong scripting or programming skills in Java or a comparable language.\n\nGood working knowledge of SQL and test data validation.\n\nExperience with Jira or similar test-management and defect-management tools.\n\nGood knowledge of Agile delivery, SDLC, testing methodologies and defect-management processes.\n\nGraduation degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineeringor a
