practices in day-to-day development\nWrite clean, tested and maintainable code\nReview code and mentor junior engineers\nWork closely with product, design, QA and web teams in an Agile setup\nTake features from development through CI/CD to Play Store release\nRequirements\nA track record of shipping and maintaining production apps on Google Play\nStrong skills in Kotlin and Java\nSolid understanding of the Android SDK and component lifecycles\nUI development with both Jetpack Compose and XML Views\nReactive programming with RxJava and Kotlin Coroutines/Flow\nArchitecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP and Clean Architecture\nDependency injection frameworks such as Dagger, Hilt or Koin\nNetworking with Retrofit/OkHttp and REST APIs\nLocal data storage with Room / SQLite\nExperience building and optimising hybrid apps, including communication protocols between native and web layers\nMulti-module Gradle builds\nPerformance optimisation: finding and fixing memory leaks, profiling, and improving app startup time, ANRs and UI jank\n Security best practices: secure storage (Android Keystore), certificate pinning, code obfuscation (R8/ProGuard) and OWASP mobile security guidelines\nUnit and UI testing with JUnit, Mockito/MockK and Espresso\nGit, CI/CD pipelines and the Play Store release process\nCrash and performance monitoring tools\nExperience reviewing code and
