One of the key responsibilities of our function is to ensure end to end execution of the user acceptance testing using both manual and automation tools to provide quality and timely output before release to market.\nAs Automation Test Engineer you are primarily responsible to convert the BDD tests written gherkin language to automated scripts across applicable digital platform across our complete product suites. You will be required to collaborate widely with the various applications team supporting our delivery model especially though not limited to the agile model.\nYou will need to understand business requirement, Author test cases, execute them and ensure quality products are being delivered.\nResponsibilities:\nAdvocate the quality culture in cross-functional teams and make sure that the best practices are followed.\n\nDesign, develop, execute, and maintain test cases, for our Android and iOS applications, web browsers, and REST API across different digital platform offerings. Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium with Java, Appium with Java, Playwright with Java and Pytest with Python.\n\nEstablish testing as an integral part of the development process within cross-functional teams\n\nDevelop maintainable automated checks in collaboration with our development teams\n\nProactively suggest improvements in testing tools for better test coverage\n\nDetect and report defects and close follow up to ensure closure of issues\n\nUse exploratory testing techniques to discover and prevent issues\n\nAssess and bring improvements to the quality of our applications and services\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of working experience, preferably in Web and Mobile Banking solutions\n\nStrong knowledge of Appium, Selenium, JUNIT. Strong knowledge of Playwright (Java), Pytest (Python), Selenium (Java) and modern test automation framework design.\n\nStrong coding knowledge in Java, Objective-C, JavaScript or similar.\n\nGood experience in developing complex SQL queries.\n\nKnowledge of SOAP UI and web service testing is a plus.\n\nKnowledge of basic UNIX Commands and ability to work with Linux flavor.\n\nGIT commands and their usage.\n\nStrong analytic skills to process complex requirements to come up with end-to-end scenarios and test cases.\n\nFamiliar with Agile methodology and understanding the life cycle of testing in both automated and manual testing.\n\nHave experience in running or being part of an agile project team in banking industry.\n\nExperience in API testing and working on JIRA, Jenkins, Dockers etc.\n\nSolid coding background in Java, Objective-C, JavaScript or similar with at least 3yrs of experience.
