Vice President, Wealth Management Operations, your key responsibilities will include:\nSupporting Investment Funds under Hong Kong Wealth Management Operations (WMO) to ensure proper processing/reporting within predefined cutoff times and timely escalation of irregular cases.\nEnsuring daily operations comply with external/regulatory and internal requirements, as well as the bank’s risk management standards.\nLeading and implementing various change initiatives and projects related to system and processing procedures, considering operational flows, markets, upcoming regulations, and control requirements.\nLiaising with business partners on user requirements, participating in and monitoring User Acceptance Testing (UAT) status to meet project timelines, and providing constant updates on project progress.\nWorking with senior business stakeholders to review Wealth Management Operations related service concerns, system, and service levels.\nConducting detailed root cause analysis for operational flows and incidents with a strong analytical and logical mindset to deliver end-to-end processes.\nRegularly reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines/regulations.\nManaging the team to meet Management (MTK) targets and overseeing people management and development of team members.\nCollaborating with business partners on New Product Approval (NPA) for new product/service implementation.\nManaging daily operations for Investment Funds to ensure correct order placement, settlement, and corporate actions without delay.\nMonitoring task completeness by end of day for the team.\nManaging funding with fund houses and nostro banks, including order settlement and dividend payment.\nPerforming daily and monthly reconciliation of General Ledger account balances.\nInvestigating and resolving exceptions or breaks.\nRegularly reviewing workflows to drive process improvement.\nEnsuring Operational Manuals are up to date.\nManaging the team to meet predefined productivity and KPI targets.\nParticipating in Investment Funds or system-related projects, UAT, and ad-hoc assignments as appropriate.\nJob Requirements\nTo be successful in this role, you should possess:\nUniversity degree holder in Banking and Finance or related disciplines.\nAt least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Investment Funds processing, order, settlement, and relevant operational support.\nExcellent knowledge of Investment Products, especially Investment Funds.\nKnowledge of regulatory requirements for investment product orders and settlements, understanding of accounting concepts, and process re-engineering.\nStrong awareness of operational risks and controls mindset with strong market operation knowledge.\nEffective interpersonal and communication skills with great team spirit to work with various key stakeholders.\nExcellent problem-solving and organizing skills.\nProactive and innovative thinking, with the ability to suggest new ideas to improve daily processes.\nExperience in Private Banking is preferable, and a digital mindset and experience in
