We partner closely with our business stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable digital solutions that support the bank's growth and transformation agenda.\nJob Role\nWe are seeking an experienced Full Stack Application Developer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade digital solutions supporting Institutional Banking businesses. The successful candidate will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and high-performance platforms while collaborating with business, product, architecture, and engineering teams across the Bank.\nThe role focuses on full stack application development, system integration, API enablement, cloud-native technologies, and modern software engineering practices. Exposure to digital assets, tokenization, blockchain, or emerging financial technologies will be advantageous but is not mandatory.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications, backend services, APIs, and user-facing solutions supporting Institutional Banking business initiatives.\nLead end-to-end technical delivery of application solutions, from requirements analysis and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and production support.\nDevelop and enhance distributed applications, middleware, APIs, and integration services connecting enterprise platforms, payment systems, transaction banking applications, and external partner ecosystems.\nBuild secure, resilient, and high-performing applications using modern software engineering principles and cloud-native architectures.\nAdopt engineering best practices, including secure coding standards, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and resiliency controls.\nCollaborate with architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure scalable and compliant solution delivery.\nConduct code reviews, technical design reviews, and mentor junior engineers and development teams.\nEvaluate and adopt emerging technologies, frameworks, and development practices to enhance platform capabilities and engineering productivity.\nSupport proof-of-concepts and innovation initiatives, including digital assets, tokenization, blockchain-enabled solutions, and other next-generation financial technologies where relevant.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.\nAt least 8+ years of software engineering experience, with strong hands-on experience in full stack application development and enterprise system integration.\nProficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Rust, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar enterprise technologies.\nExperience developing and maintaining enterprise applications using modern backend frameworks and front-end technologies.\nStrong experience in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and application integration patterns.\nFamiliarity with relational and NoSQL databases, messaging platforms, and distributed systems.\nExperience working with cloud-native architectures, containerization technologies, and DevSecOps practices.\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), application security, performance optimization, and operational support.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience within banking, financial services, transaction banking, payments, securities services, or capital markets environments.\nExposure to blockchain, distributed ledger technologies, tokenization platforms, digital assets, smart contracts, or related financial technology innovations.\nKnowledge of digital payments, custody solutions, digital asset ecosystems, or tokenized financial products.\nExperience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP and modern container technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines, observability platforms, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.\nExperience working in a regulated financial institution, fintech organization, or large-scale enterprise technology environment\nLocation:\nDBS Asia
