Whether you’re an experienced industry veteran or just starting your career, DC BLOX offers a range of opportunities for growth and development.\nDescription Summary:\nThe Utility Delivery Manager at DC BLOX supports the planning, execution, and delivery of utility infrastructure for data center campuses. This role ensures that substation and utility build projects are completed on time, on budget, and as scoped. This role will interface and collaborate with many critical stakeholders, including but not limited to pre-development teams leading overall due diligence and entitlements; operations leaders managing load growth projections; sales teams coordinating customer demands; and development team project leaders planning and building new data centers.\nEssential Duties:\nCoordinate with internal and external partners and consultants for electrical substation design and construction.\n\nEstablish project schedules and report on milestones for utility projects.\n\nCommunicate regularly with utility companies to ensure transmission and distribution infrastructure remain on track.\n\nDevelop budgets and cost forecasts for utility projects, including construction and equipment procurement.\n\nManage construction of multiple substation sites.\n\nDeliver utility projects on schedule, on budget, and as designed.\n\nTrack and report on power delivery timelines.\n\nPrepare scopes of work for design, construction, and commissioning services; participate in procurement and cost estimates.\n\nEvaluate and negotiate pricing proposals for design, construction, and commissioning services.\n\nReview and approve monthly contractor pay applications and change order requests\n\nOther duties as needed.\n\nEducation/Training/Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction, or equivalent professional experience.\n\n3+ years of medium/high voltage construction management.\n\n3+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously or related experience.\n\nWillingness to travel up to 50% of the time.","description_format":"text","description_chars":2603,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Information Technology","Data Centers & Colocation","Web Hosting & VPS"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-28T04:57:40Z"}],"liveness":{"score":71,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.793,"p_room":0.9,"age_days":12,"expected_fill_days":32,"reasons":["conf:0","win:mid"],"computed_at":"2026-09-28T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/dc-blox-utility-delivery-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/dc-blox-utility-delivery-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-29T01:53:18Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1566,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3434,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-30T00:00:00Z"}}}
