read on! \nIn this job, you will:\nDevelop and Maintain Code: Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code based on design specifications and development guidelines.\nImplement Features and Fix Bugs: Build new features and resolve issues in the codebase according to technical specifications and user requirements.\nCode Reviews: Participate in regular code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality and team collaboration.\nTesting & Debugging: Write unit tests and perform debugging to ensure reliability and maintainability of the codebase.\nAutomated Testing: Perform unit and automated testing to uphold high code quality and minimise regressions.\nFeature Design & Prototyping: Collaborate on the design and prototyping of new features, ensuring alignment with the system architecture and user experience goals.\nCross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, QA engineers, and UI/UX designers to ensure seamless feature delivery.\nPerformance Optimisation: Identify, monitor, and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure high application performance and responsiveness.\nSecurity Compliance: Apply necessary security patches and ensure the codebase complies with industry security standards.\nCode Refactoring: Continuously improve existing code for better readability, maintainability, and performance.\nTroubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex bugs and technical issues in a timely and effective manner.\nThis role is a fit for you if:\nyou have experience with JavaScript (React, Node.js, GraphQL) with Typescript, \nyou're familiar with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL) and testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress\nyou have designed a data model from scratch for a new feature - thought through the schema, relationships, and indexes, and evolved it with migrations as requirements changed\nyou have experience building a complex, stateful interface - something with forms, validation, optimistic updates, or real-time data - not just static pages\nyou know how to write meaningful tests (unit, integration, or end-to-end) that caught regressions and gave the team confidence to ship\nyou're comfortable working in a scrum environment\nyou're familiar with AI coding assistants as part of everyday development -
