Retail Sales Associate \n\nLocation: Lekki phase 1, Lagos\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nWork mode: Onsite (Monday to Saturday)\n\nSummary\n\nYou will also oversee custom gifting services and collaborate across teams to expand market reach.\nIn this role, you will drive overall business growth by leading sales efforts across both retail and corporate gifting , generating leads, securing new clients, and sending tailored proposals, particularly in the corporate and lifestyle gifting space.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nMonitor key sales metrics, analyze performance data, and adjust tactics accordingly.\nOversee the customization and personalization services for clients, ensuring high standards and brand alignment.\nDevelop and implement sales and business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market reach.\nLead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet individual and team KPIs.\nRepresent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking engagements to build visibility and generate leads.\nManage pricing strategy, sales forecasting, and budget planning in partnership with operations.\nBuild and nurture relationships with both existing and prospective clients to drive loyalty and repeat business.\nPrepare and send business proposals, tailored pitches, and service decks to potential clients.\nIdentify and pursue new business opportunities in key sectors including corporate gifting, events, hospitality, and high-end retail.\nCollaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure product offerings and campaigns are aligned with client demands and market trends.\n\nEducation and Experience\n\n5–8 years’ experience in business development or B2B sales, preferably in a gifting, retail, or lifestyle environment.\nProven track record of generating leads, closing high-value deals, and achieving sales targets.\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related fields.\nExperience working with premium, custom, or personalized products is a strong advantage.\n\nRequired Skills:\n\nAbility to create and deliver compelling sales materials and custom proposals.\nStrong leadership, team management, and performance coaching abilities.\nExceptional proposal writing, client presentation, and negotiation skills.\nCreative thinking, especially in developing bespoke client solutions.\nDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.\nStrong business development mindset with the ability to identify, qualify, and convert
