As a SeniorStructural Project Engineer, you’ll work on diverse building projects, collaborate with talented engineers and BIM designers, and grow your technical expertise - all while contributing to a team that values innovation, mentorship, and work/life balance.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nAs a SeniorStructural Project Engineer, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and construction support of building projects, including:\nPerform structural design of assigned tasks under the supervision of the Project Manager\nCollaborate with BIM Designers to produce structural construction documents and draft details in REVIT\nAssist Project Managers with construction support, including shop drawing review and responding to RFIs\nEnsure accuracy and attention to detail in all construction documents\nProgressively grow your technical knowledge through internal project experience and continuing education\nDevelop and maintain client relationships\nWhat You Bring:\nTo succeed as a SeniorStructural Project Engineer, you should bring the following skills and experiences:\n3-6 years of structural engineering experience related to building design\nWorking knowledge and project experience using steel, concrete, and wood design materials\nExperience designing all categories of gravity framing and lateral force resisting systems\nAbility to perform advance calculations, design, and analysis for structural elements\nStrong knowledge of design/building codes such as AISC, ACI 318, IBC, ASCE 7\nWorking knowledge of structural analysis software such as RISA 3D, RAM, ETABS, Enercalc, or similar\nPerform construction administration tasks such as reviewing shop drawings, writing construction observation reports, and communicating with contractors\nAbility to manage your time and juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously\nDesire to provide excellent service and build strong client relationships\nPositive attitude, willingness to learn, and effective communication skills\nState-issued Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate required; Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred. \nStructural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university\nWhy DCI Engineers\nAt DCI Engineers, you’ll find more than just a job - you’ll join a team that values collaboration, innovation, and a lifestyle you crave.
