We are experts in designing, developing and trading in accessories, working with a wide range of partners and selling directly to consumers.\nRole Purpose:\nWe are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas of the distribution centre are clean, organised, and maintained to a high standard, providing a healthy and pleasant working atmosphere for colleagues and visitors.\nThis role will be based in our Basildon Distribution Centre paying £12.71 per hour.\nShift pattern is as follows -\nMonday 5 hours\nTuesday 5 hours\nWednesday 5 hours\nThursday 5 hours\nFriday 5 hours\nShift pattern will be 10am - 3pm.\nMain Tasks and responsibilities:\nGeneral Cleaning:\nSweep, mop, and vacuum floors.\n\nDust and wipe down all surfaces, including desks, shelves, and cabinets.\n\nClean and sanitise restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure the area is well-maintained.\n\nEmpty rubbish bins and dispose of waste responsibly.\n\nClean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.\n\nEnsure all common areas, including break rooms and kitchens, are clean and organised.\n\nSpecialised Cleaning:\nClean carpets and upholstery as needed.\n\nClean and maintain office equipment (e.g., microwaves, refrigerators, coffee machines).\n\nInventory Management:\nMonitor and manage cleaning supplies inventory, requesting restocks when necessary.\n\nSafety and Compliance:\nAdhere to all health and safety regulations regarding cleaning chemicals and equipment use.\n\nEnsure that cleaning practices do not pose a risk to the safety or health of colleagues.\n\nOccasional Duties:\nAssist with setup and breakdown of office events or meetings.\n\nOther general office maintenance tasks as directed.\n\nRequirements\nKey Requirements:\nExperience:\nPrevious cleaning experience, particularly in an office or commercial setting, is preferred.\n\nA full, valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle\n\nSkills & Abilities:\nAttention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.\n\nAbility to work independently and follow instructions.\n\nGood time-management skills to complete tasks in a timely manner.\n\nStrong physical stamina and ability to lift cleaning supplies and equipment.\n\nPersonal Characteristics:\nReliability and punctuality.\n\nGood communication skills.\n\nDiscretion and respect for privacy when handling office equipment and documents.\n\nAdditional Requirements:\nAbility to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.\n\nWillingness to work flexible
