Provide detailed written reports of any problems to the local manager.\nEnsure DCLI inspection/repair standards are communicated to vendors and adhered to on all equipment repairs.\nAssist locations in continuously investigating ways and means to reduce overall M&R costs while ensuring service levels are not compromised.\nWork with vendors to increase productivity.\nMonitor and control tire inventory levels at all facilities.\nRead and answer e-mails, respond to all correspondence ASAP, no later than one working day.\nReview work order input in the M&R system daily, approve or reject said work orders daily.\nDiscuss and resolve work order input discrepancy with M&R vendors.\nPerform DCLI monthly safety review.\nConduct shop site audits for all responsible locations\nMonitor and release any DVER/DVIR inspections that location is notified of.\nReview M&R system reports as needed; vendor report card, duplicate repair code and work order reports as well as STS code frequency reports.\nGenerate information and fill out third party billing/damage recovery at all locations.\nTrack and order replacement license plates for chassis, report same to Fleet Ops when installed.\nCoordinate off-hire and scrap chassis programs.\nControl and report renumbering of chassis in all locations.\nAbility to safely operate a forklift and a yard hostler, preferred\nQualifications\nFive years of experience in maintenance and repair.\nThorough knowledge of chassis or trailer repair.\nAbility to effectively communicate company policy and procedures.\nAbility to identify problems and seek solutions.\nAbility to work independently and efficiently to meet daily requirements.\nInterface credibly with vendors and terminal personnel.\nAbility to work with internal and external customers.\nMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening\nDirect Reports\nN/A\nQualifications:\nExperience in chassis maintenance and repair a plus.\nAbility to effectively communicate company policy and procedures.\nAbility to identify problems and seek solutions.\nAbility to work independently and efficiently to meet daily requirements.\nInterface credibly with vendors and terminal personnel.\nAbility to work with internal and external customers.\nMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening\nBenefits\nWe understand that your role at DCLI is only part of who you are.
