Provide detailed written reports of any problems to the Manager.\nEnsure DCLI inspection/repair standards are communicated to vendors and adhered to on all equipment repairs.\nAssist locations in continuously investigating ways and means to reduce overall M&R costs while ensuring service levels are not compromised.\nWork with vendors to increase productivity.\nMonitor and control spare parts inventory levels of DCLI owned parts.\nRespond to all correspondence ASAP, no later than one working day.\nReview work order input in M&R system daily and transmit work orders daily.\nDiscuss and resolve work order input discrepancy with M&R vendors.\nPerform DCLI monthly safety review.\nConduct shop site audits for all locations in your area.\nMonitor and release any DVER/DVIR inspections that location is notified of.\nReview M&R system reports as needed; vendor report card, duplicate code and duplicate work order reports.\nGenerate information for third party billing/damage recovery at all locations.\nTrack and order license plates for chassis.\nVerify and approve/decline M&R15 related road service invoices in accounting system for specified location.\nVerify, code and approve invoices up to $1,000.00\nWork with the logistics team to ensure proper inventory levels are kept in locations.\nMonitor and control inventory levels of DCLI owned tires.\nCoordinate off-hire and scrap chassis programs.\nEnsure accruals are done accurately and in a timely manner each month.\nQualifications\nFive years of experience in maintenance and repair.\nThorough knowledge of chassis or trailer repair.\nAbility to effectively communicate company policy and procedures.\nAbility to identify problems and seek solutions.\nAbility to work independently and efficiently to meet daily requirements.\nInterface credibly with vendors and terminal personnel.\nAbility to work with internal and external customers.\nAbility to travel 60% - 80% of weekly travel\nMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.\nDirect Reports\nN/A\nBenefits\nWe understand that your role at DCLI is only part of who you are.
