The Senior Procurement Manager serves as a key business partner to Operations, Finance, Accounting, Commercial, IT, Legal, and executive leadership to drive value, reduce risk, and improve supply chain performance.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nStrategic Procurement Leadership\nLead and manage all procurement activities, providing strategic direction and daily operational oversight.\nDevelop and execute sourcing strategies that improve quality, service levels, supplier performance, and cost efficiency.\nIdentify and implement opportunities to reduce expenses, streamline processes, and increase operational effectiveness.\nServe as the subject matter expert (SME) for procurement and supply chain management policies, procedures, and best practices.\nDevelop and maintain procurement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal controls.\nSourcing & Supplier Management\nLead RFQ, RFP, and supplier evaluation processes.\nNegotiate pricing, terms, contracts, warranties, and service agreements with suppliers.\nBuild and maintain strategic supplier relationships with both domestic and international vendors.\nMonitor supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) focused on cost, quality, delivery, responsiveness, and compliance.\nResolve supplier-related issues involving quality, delivery, invoicing, shortages, and claims.\nProcurement Operations\nOversee purchase order governance, procurement workflows, and post-order supply chain tracking.\nEnsure procurement activities comply with company policies, financial controls, and audit requirements.\nManage inventory-related procurement processes and support quarterly inventory counts and reconciliation activities.\nMonitor demand forecasts and develop purchasing plans to support operational requirements.\nPartner with Accounting and Finance to support month-end and quarter-end close activities.\nContract & Risk Management\nPrepare, review, negotiate, and manage supplier agreements and contract modifications.\nEnsure supplier contracts adequately protect company interests through pricing, service level agreements, indemnification provisions, and risk mitigation measures.\nCollaborate with Internal Audit and Legal teams to strengthen procurement governance and compliance controls.\nData Analytics & Reporting\nTrack, analyze, and report procurement performance metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, inventory health, and spending trends.\nPerform total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses and supplier cost evaluations.\nProvide data-driven recommendations and executive-level reporting to support strategic decision-making.\nUtilize ERP systems and business intelligence tools to improve procurement visibility and effectiveness.\nTeam Leadership\nRecruit, train, mentor, and develop procurement team members.\nEstablish performance expectations and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nLead cross-functional business reviews with Operations, Finance, and key stakeholders.\nDrive organizational alignment on procurement objectives and strategic initiatives.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.\n7+ years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or purchasing experience.\n3+ years of leadership experience managing procurement teams.\nStrong experience with supplier negotiations, RFQs, RFPs, contract management, and strategic sourcing.\nDemonstrated success implementing process improvements and procurement controls.\nAdvanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formulas, scenario modeling, and dashboards.\nExperience leveraging AI-supported analytics within Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem to accelerate analysis, identify trends, and support decision-making.\nExperience building and maintaining analytical models to support sourcing strategies, cost-reduction initiatives, supplier negotiations, and demand planning.\nAbility to translate large, complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and executive-ready summaries.\nPreferred\nExperience within transportation, manufacturing, equipment, fleet, or industrial operations.\nERP experience (Oracle preferred).\nProfessional certification such as CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, or CPM.\nExperience leading inventory management and demand planning initiatives.\nMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.\nDirect Reports\nYes\n\nBenefits\nWe understand that your role at DCLI is only part of who you are.
