Darwin-based role is responsible for leading the delivery of commercial construction projects from project award through to handover, ensuring works are executed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.\nTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:\nA Diploma or Degree in Building & Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline\nProven experience delivering commercial construction projects\nComprehensive understanding of construction sequencing, programming and subcontractor coordination\nStrong knowledge of construction contracts, compliance obligations and safety legislation\nDemonstrated ability to lead and manage project teams in a live construction environment\nExperience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to achieve programme outcomes\nProficiency in construction and project management systems such as Hammertech, Procore, MS Project, Aconex or similar\nStrong organisational, planning and time management skills\nEffective communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving capability\nThe ability to identify risks early and implement practical delivery solutions in a fast-paced environment\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nLead the delivery of construction projects in accordance with programme, budget and contract requirements.\nOversee day-to-day site operations with the Site Manager to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality project execution.\nMonitor construction progress, manage sequencing and resolve delivery constraints to maintain programme outcomes.\nEnsure HSEQ systems, management plans and statutory compliance requirements are implemented and maintained.\nLead procurement activities, including scope development, subcontractor engagement and package letting.\nCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers and project resources to achieve key project milestones.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.\nIdentify, manage and mitigate project delivery, commercial, safety and quality risks.\nMonitor project performance and provide regular reporting on programme, cost, safety and quality outcomes.\nIdentify cost risks, variations and value opportunities arising from procurement and site delivery activities.\nMaintain accurate project records, RFIs, variations, site instructions and delivery documentation.\nManage drawing registers, document control, revision management and compliance records.\nOversee subcontractor performance, claims, variations, compliance requirements and contractual obligations.\nLead commissioning, defect management, certification and project handover activities.\nMentor project team members, foster a collaborative culture and represent DCOH
