The role requires strong hands-on expertise in AWS and GCP networking, hybrid connectivity, network security, Infrastructure as Code, automation, monitoring, and incident management. You will work closely with cloud, infrastructure, security, application, and vendor teams to ensure secure, highly available, and scalable network operations.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Cloud Network Operations & Infrastructure Support\nSupport and maintain cloud networking components including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, gateways, NAT, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and connectivity services.\n\nConfigure, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud network infrastructure to ensure performance, availability, resilience, and cost efficiency.\n\nEnsure cloud network designs align with enterprise operational, security, scalability, and governance requirements.\n\nSupport day-to-day network operations and resolve complex infrastructure issues across cloud environments.\n\n2. Hybrid Connectivity & Integration\nImplement and support secure connectivity between cloud platforms and on-premises data centers using VPN, AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, Google Cloud Interconnect, and SD-WAN.\n\nWork with infrastructure, application, security, and vendor teams to enable reliable cloud-to-on-premises and cloud-to-cloud connectivity.\n\nSupport cloud migration and modernization initiatives requiring secure connectivity, routing, and network integration.\n\nTroubleshoot connectivity and routing issues across hybrid environments.\n\n3. Network Security & Compliance\nImplement network security best practices including network segmentation, firewall policies, WAF rules, logging, monitoring, encryption, and controlled access.\n\nSupport security controls such as IDS/IPS, micro-segmentation, Zero Trust principles, and secure access models.\n\nEnsure network changes comply with enterprise security standards, change management processes, and governance requirements.\n\nParticipate in security reviews, audit-readiness activities, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives.\n\n4. Automation & Infrastructure as Code\nDevelop and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates for cloud networking components using Terraform or equivalent tools.\n\nAutomate network provisioning, configuration validation, policy enforcement, and operational processes.\n\nUse Ansible, Python, Shell scripting, or similar technologies to improve network automation and operational efficiency.\n\nSupport CI/CD and DevOps practices for controlled deployment of network and infrastructure changes.\n\n5. Monitoring, Incident & Problem Management\nImplement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging for network availability, latency, throughput, connectivity, and security events.\n\nPerform incident triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for connectivity, routing, DNS, firewall, and performance-related issues.\n\nParticipate in major incident management and provide timely technical updates to stakeholders.\n\nContribute to problem management and continuous service improvement initiatives to reduce recurring incidents.\n\n6. Documentation & Stakeholder/Vendor Collaboration\nCreate and maintain network architecture diagrams, configuration documentation, operational runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.\n\nCollaborate with cloud service providers, network vendors, security teams, infrastructure teams, and managed service providers.\n\nProvide technical inputs for solution reviews, change approvals, transition planning, and operational governance forums.\n\nCommunicate technical issues, risks, and recommendations effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.\n\nEssential Skills & Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.\n\nProven experience as a Cloud Network Engineer or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer supporting enterprise cloud environments.\n\nStrong hands-on knowledge of cloud networking services across AWS and GCP, including:\nVPC/VNet\n\nSubnets\n\nRoute tables\n\nNAT\n\nPeering\n\nInternet/NAT Gateways\n\nDNS\n\nLoad Balancing\n\nNetwork connectivity services\n\nHands-on experience with hybrid connectivity technologies such as:\nVPN\n\nAWS Direct Connect\n\nAzure ExpressRoute\n\nGoogle Cloud Interconnect\n\nSD-WAN\n\nMPLS\n\nInternet edge connectivity\n\nStrong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, firewall policies, network segmentation, and high-availability network design.\n\nExperience with network security technologies and concepts including firewalls, WAF, IDS/IPS, micro-segmentation, Zero Trust, encryption, and secure access models.\n\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code and automation, particularly Terraform, Ansible, Python, and/or Shell scripting.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud governance, compliance, logging, monitoring, and enterprise operational best practices.\n\nStrong troubleshooting skills across connectivity, latency, DNS, routing, firewall/security policies, and application access issues spanning cloud and on-premises environments.\n\nStrong communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.\n\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on Cloud Network Engineer who can independently manage AWS/GCP networking and hybrid connectivity, troubleshoot complex enterprise network issues, automate
