Automation Test Engineer to join Asset Management Technology team.\nThe successful candidate should have strong hands-on experience across both functional and automated testing, with particular expertise in building and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright or Cypress with C#.\nYou will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and other technology stakeholders to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of critical investment management applications.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong QA professional who enjoys solving complex problems, improving test automation, and working in a collaborative Agile environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform end-to-end functional and automation testing of web-based applications.\n\nDesign, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright or Cypress with C#.\n\nDesign and maintain scalable and reliable test automation frameworks.\n\nCreate and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.\n\nValidate application functionality, business workflows, data integrity, and system behaviour.\n\nPerform backend and database validation using SQL queries.\n\nAnalyze test results, investigate failures, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.\n\nEnsure appropriate test coverage for new features, enhancements, and existing functionality.\n\nExecute regression, integration, system, functional, and UAT testing.\n\nParticipate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.\n\nContribute to the continuous improvement of automation frameworks, testing strategies, and QA processes.\n\nIdentify opportunities to increase automation coverage and improve testing efficiency.\n\nWork closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders throughout the software delivery lifecycle.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\nMandatory\n6+ years of hands-on software testing experience.\n\nStrong experience in both functional testing and test automation.\n\nProven hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress.\n\nStrong programming skills in C#.\n\nExperience designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks.\n\nStrong understanding of software testing methodologies and test design techniques.\n\nStrong SQL/database testing skills, including the ability to write complex queries for data validation.\n\nExperience testing web-based applications and complex business workflows.\n\nExperience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.\n\nStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.\n\nGood understanding of the full software development and testing lifecycle.\n\nPreferred\nExperience with API testing, using tools such as Postman or Swagger.\n\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into delivery pipelines.\n\nExperience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar ALM/test management tools.\n\nExperience with Git or other version control systems.\n\nExperience working
