The ideal candidate combines strong software development skills with deep testing expertise and has experience validating distributed systems, storage platforms, filesystems, and high-performance data platforms.\nThis role requires building automation frameworks, developing test infrastructure, and driving quality across the entire software development lifecycle for enterprise-scale distributed storage solutions.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Python and PyTest.\n\nDevelop automated functional, integration, regression, performance, scalability, and reliability tests.\n\nDesign and execute fault-injection, failover, recovery, and chaos testing scenarios.\n\nDevelop automation for cluster deployment, upgrades, rolling updates, and disaster recovery workflows.\n\nWork closely with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve complex product issues.\n\nPerform white-box testing by reviewing architecture, design documents, and code changes.\n\nBuild tools to improve test efficiency, coverage, reporting, and product quality metrics.\n\nAnalyze system behavior under node failures, network disruptions, disk failures, and workload stress conditions.\n\nParticipate in CI/CD pipeline development and test automation integration.\n\nDrive quality initiatives and improve overall engineering productivity through automation.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\n\n8+ years of experience in Software QA, Test Automation, or SDET roles.\n\nStrong programming skills in Python.\n\nExtensive hands-on experience with PyTest.\n\nExperience building and maintaining large-scale automation frameworks.\n\nStrong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills.\n\nExperience testing distributed systems and enterprise storage products.\n\nStrong understanding of:\nScale-out storage architectures\n\nFile, Block or Object storage\n\nData replication and erasure coding\n\nExperience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation infrastructure.\n\nTechnical Skills\nProgramming & Automation\nPython\n\nPyTest\n\nShell Scripting (Bash)\n\nGit\n\nInfrastructure & DevOps\nJenkins, GitHub Actions\n\nDocker\n\nMonitoring and Observability Tools\n\nSuccess Criteria\nThe successful candidate will:\nOwn quality initiatives for major storage features.\n\nBuild scalable automation frameworks that reduce manual testing effort.\n\nImprove regression coverage and release
