develop, and maintain UBLK-based userspace block devices on Linux\n\nWork with Linux block layer, io_uring, and kernel interfaces\n\nImplement high-performance I/O paths with low latency and high throughput\n\nDebug and resolve issues across user space and kernel space\n\nOptimize storage performance, memory usage, and CPU utilization\n\nCollaborate with kernel, platform, and application teams on storage architecture\n\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented code\n\nReview code and contribute to design discussions and technical decisions\n\nParticipate in performance benchmarking and regression analysis\n\nGuide and assist QA group with creating & executing the test cases.\n\nProvide insight into the system behaviour by analysing system logs & debugging software\n\nSkills:\n· Software development with strong C programming.\nCandidate should have 8+years of experience.\n· Solid experience with Linux internals\nGood understanding of:\nLinux block device subsystem\n\nio_uring\n\nSystem calls, memory management, and concurrency\n\nExperience with userspace-kernel interaction (netlink, ioctl, sysfs, etc.)\n\nStrong debugging skills using tools like:\ngdb, perf, strace, ftrace, bpf\n\nExperience working in multithreaded and high-performance environments\n\nFamiliarity with POSIX APIs and low-level I/O mechanisms\n\nGood understanding of data structures and algorithms\n\nHands-on experience with UBLK, SPDK or other storage frameworks\n\n· Development experience in high availability clustering solutions required.\nPrior experience contributing to Linux kernel or storage-related open source\n\nKnowledge of file systems (ext4, xfs, btrfs, etc.)\n\nExperience with virtualization or container storage (KVM, Docker, Kubernetes CSI)\n\nWorking experience with RDMA, NVMe, NVMe-oF preferred\n\nExperience in performance tuning on production systems\n\nScripting experience (Python, Bash) preferred\n\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills\n\nAbility to work independently on complex system-level problems\n\nGood communication skills for cross-team collaboration\n\nPassion for low-level systems and performance
