This role provides critical support to manufacturing, supplier quality, and engineering teams by identifying non-conformances, assisting in root cause investigations, and helping implement effective corrective actions.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform in-process, incoming, and final inspections using appropriate tools (calipers, micrometers, multimeters, microscope, etc.).\n\nInterpret and apply complex mechanical drawings, schematics, specifications, and industry standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, ANSI/ASME Y14.5).\n\nDocument inspection results and non-conformances in DDN’s quality systems.\n\nCollaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing on first article inspections (FAI), new product introduction (NPI), and production validation.\n\nSupport supplier quality by inspecting components received from vendors and communicating quality issues for disposition.\n\nParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (RCCA) processes.\n\nAssist in training junior inspectors and operators on inspection standards and techniques.\n\nMaintain accurate records of inspection reports, calibration logs, and quality metrics.\n\nEnsure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements where applicable.\n\nUphold a culture of continuous improvement and proactive quality management.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nMinimum 5+ years of quality inspection experience in a high-tech or electronics manufacturing environment.\n\nProficient in using mechanical inspection tools and equipment.\n\nStrong understanding of GD&T and ability to read engineering drawings.\n\nKnowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality standards.\n\nFamiliarity with ERP and quality systems (e.g., Oracle, Propel, etc.).\n\nExcellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or equivalent certification.\n\nPrior experience in aerospace, data storage, or high-performance computing industry.\n\nWorking knowledge of ESD controls and cleanroom
