In this role, you will support the organization's participation in CMS, commercial payer, and other value-based payment programs by coordinating performance reporting, quality dashboards, public reporting initiatives, and regulatory survey activities.\nWorking closely with quality leaders, operational teams, physicians, Finance, and executive leadership, you will help monitor organizational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure accurate reporting across key quality, safety, and value-based care initiatives. This position plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making and helping Deaconess Health System achieve quality, patient safety, and financial performance goals.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys healthcare analytics, performance improvement, data management, and translating complex information into actionable insights.\nWhat You'll Do\nValue-Based Programs & Performance Reporting\nServe as an organizational resource for CMS and commercial payer value-based programs, including Hospital Value-Based Purchasing (HVBP), Hospital Readmissions Reduction Program (HRRP), Hospital-Acquired Conditions (HAC), Star Ratings, Anthem QHIP, and other quality incentive programs\nMonitor program requirements, regulatory updates, proposed and final rules, and evolving quality standards\nPrepare and submit required program data and documentation for payer and regulatory programs\nAnalyze performance results, identify opportunities for improvement, and communicate findings to leadership and stakeholders\nSupport employee incentive programs by providing quality performance data, scorecards, and KPI reporting\nCollaborate with Quality leadership to establish annual quality goals, benchmarks, and performance targets\nSupport quality improvement initiatives designed to improve performance across system-wide measures\nQuality Dashboard & Measure Management\nMaintain the system Quality Dashboard and ensure timely collection, validation, and reporting of performance data\nManage the organization's inventory of quality measures, benchmarks, reporting timelines, and data sources\nObtain and validate data from multiple internal and external reporting systems\nMonitor measure definitions, reporting methodologies, and performance periods to ensure consistency and accuracy\nCreate and distribute scorecards, dashboards, and performance reports for leadership review\nPublic Reporting & Rankings\nCoordinate reporting and analysis activities related to publicly reported quality measures\nMonitor performance associated with CMS Star Ratings, Healthgrades, U.S. News rankings, and other public reporting programs\nPrepare leadership reports, presentations, and performance analyses\nPartner with department leaders and Centers of Excellence to identify opportunities for quality improvement\nHelp communicate performance results and improvement opportunities throughout the organization\nSurveys & Regulatory Reporting\nCoordinate the American Hospital Association (AHA) Annual Survey process across the health system\nCollaborate with leaders and subject matter experts to gather and validate survey data\nManage survey timelines, submissions, audits, and documentation requirements\nSupport additional survey and reporting activities as assigned\nDevelop tracking tools and workflows that improve survey completion and reporting efficiency\nLeadership & Board Support\nPrepare reports, presentations, executive summaries, and analyses for senior leadership\nSupport Quality Committee and Board reporting activities\nPresent findings and performance trends to leadership groups as requested\nAssist with the preparation of annual quality assessments and strategic quality reports\nProcess Improvement & Automation\nDevelop and maintain standard work, process maps, and documentation related to quality reporting and value-based programs\nDesign and enhance reporting tools using Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, and related technologies\nIdentify opportunities to automate workflows and improve reporting efficiency\nParticipate in organizational performance improvement and strategic initiatives\nWhat We're Looking For\nBachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Computer Information Systems, Public Health, Nursing, Data Analytics, or a related field\nMinimum of three years of experience in healthcare quality, performance improvement, healthcare analytics, value-based care, payer programs, or a related area\nStrong analytical and critical-thinking skills\nExperience working with healthcare performance measures, quality metrics, and regulatory reporting\nAbility to gather, validate, interpret, and present complex data from multiple sources\nStrong project coordination and organizational skills\nExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills\nAbility to work effectively with executives, physicians, clinical leaders, and operational teams\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy\nAbility to manage multiple projects and reporting deadlines simultaneously\nPreferred:\nMaster's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field\nExperience with CMS quality programs, value-based purchasing, quality incentive initiatives, or payer performance programs\nExperience supporting public reporting programs such as Star Ratings, Healthgrades, Leapfrog, or U.S. News rankings\nExperience with healthcare quality platforms, benchmarking tools, and performance dashboards\nTechnical Skills\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, conditional formatting, Power Query, and reporting tools\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook\nExperience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and workflow automation tools preferred\nExperience with business intelligence and visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI preferred\nAbility to analyze, organize, validate, and integrate data from multiple sources\nExperience working with healthcare quality databases, dashboards, and reporting systems preferred\nRequired Certifications\nLean Six Sigma White Belt certification within one year of hire (training provided)\nLean Six Sigma
