That’s where you come in!\nBase Pay Range:\n$80,580 - $110,000As an Associate Data Scientist, your essential job functions will include the following:\nPerform Advanced Modeling & Analysis\nExecute assigned data science projects with defined scope, delivering accurate and timely results\n\nDevelop and implement statistical and machine learning models under guidance, including regression, classification, clusteringandforecasting techniques\n\nApply appropriate analytical methods based on provided problem definitions, datasetsandevaluation criteria\n\nUtilize interactive development environments (e.g., notebooks) to explore data, prototype modelsandvalidate approaches\n\nInterpret model outputs and assist in translating findings into actionable insights for stakeholders\n\nLeverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate analysis, researchandcode development\n\nPerform AI Engineering\nUtilize AI tools and large language models (LLMs) to support analysis, code generationandresearch tasks\n\nApply basic prompt engineering techniques to improveoutputsfrom AI-assisted workflows\n\nAssist in building simple AI-enabled workflows or components under guidance\n\nDevelop familiarity with emerging AI techniques and their application within data science workflows\n\nContribute toData Science Products\nContribute to the development and maintenance of data science products, including models, pipelines,reporting\n\nSupport implementation of model training, evaluationandoutput generation workflows\n\nAssist in documenting data science processes, model assumptionsandsystem behavior\n\nGenerate regular reporting and analysis to support performance monitoring of data science products\n\nCommunicate progress and results to team members and stakeholders as needed\n\nManage Large Datasets - Cleaning, Transforming, Understanding\nClean, transformandprepare large structured and unstructured datasets for analysis and modeling\n\nWrite SQL and Python-based transformations to create usable datasets from raw data sources\n\nWork with Snowflake and dbt workflows to support development of analytics-ready datasets\n\nAssist in developing and maintaining data pipelines used in modeling workflows\n\nPerform exploratory data analysis to understand data characteristics, distributionsandpotential issues\n\nData Science Quality and Governance\nFollow established software development best practices, including version control, documentationandtesting standards\n\nWrite clear, maintainableandtestable code for data science workflows\n\nAssist in validating datasets, model outputsandreporting results for accuracy and consistency\n\nParticipate in code reviews, focusing on syntax correctness and general structure\n\nEnsure reproducibility of analyses through proper documentation and organization of work\n\nTechnology and TechnicalDevelopment\nDevelop proficiency in Python as the primary programming language and use R where appropriate for statistical analysis\n\nUtilize standard data science libraries and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas,numpy)\n\nBegin developing modular code practices and reusable functions\n\nGain familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and deployment concepts\n\nUse AI-assisted tools to improve development speed and code quality\n\nThoughtDevelopment and Collaboration\nBuild foundational business acumen by understanding how data science outputs support business decision-making\n\nCommunicate findings and progress clearly with team members and stakeholders\n\nSeekfeedback and continuouslyimprovetechnical and analytical skills\n\nCollaborate effectively with other Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers and business partners\n\nBuild Trust and Reputation for Data Science\nDeliver accurate, reliableandwell-documented analytical outputs\n\nSupport team members by providing consistent, high-quality work\n\nDevelop expertise in assigned datasets, toolsandprocesses\n\nBuild strong working relationships within the Data Science team and with cross-functional partners\n\nOther Duties as Assigned\nPosition Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field\n\nAdvanced degree in a quantitative field preferred\n\n0-2 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles -OR- advanced degree\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency\n\nStrong intellectual curiosity and desire to learn\n\nTechnical Skills\nStrong foundational programming skills in Python;
