That’s where you come in!\nBase Pay Range:\n$72,000-$85,000DEALER TIRE\nPOSITION DESCRIPTION\nTitle: Associate JDE Software Engineer\nReports To: Team Lead, IT Software Engineering\nFLSA Status: Exempt\nJob Category: PPA, NDA\nRevision Date: 10/15/2026\n As an Associate JDE Software Engineer, your essential job responsibilities will include the following:\nPrimary responsibility is to design, develop, test and maintain Dealer Tire systems and environments utilizing various computer languages, Integrated Development Environments and tools.\nDevelopment of quality written technical design specifications and documentation.\nDesign, develop, and maintain applications using various languages.\nTrack project development and support time using existing Dealer Tire processes.\nPrincipal Accountabilities (not limited to)\nResponsible for the design, development, and testing of system applications utilizing defined development processes, tools, standards, frameworks and methodologies.\nExecute thorough developer unit testing utilizing available use cases.\nMaintain up-to-date documentation of newly developed systems and operations.\nMonitor system services ensuring consistent service reliability and timely problem resolution.\nInterface with key customers from internal functional areas.\nResponsible for ongoing support of the system applications.\nKey Performance Measures\nTimely and successful delivery of application development tasks and projects.\nMeet/exceed customer service commitments.\nEffective training and support of business community where required.\nEffective coordination of projects and tasks across the Information Technology organization. \nOther Duties as Assigned\nJob Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or a minimum of 2+ years of related experience is required.\nMust have minimum of 2+ years JD Edwards EnterpriseOne programming experience and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 experience.\nExperience in J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne Application, UBE, TC, BSFN, NER, UDO’s and Interface design, development and maintenance. Demonstrated proficiency leveraging Claude AI is a plus.\nExperience in developer unit testing.\nExperience developing within the J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne Development Tool Kit.\nExperience with distributed application development in a client/server environment (preferably iSeries) is a plus.\nKnowledge of J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne functional modules in Finance and Sales is a plus.\nDatabase knowledge of DB2 is a plus.\nPositive and professional attitude.\nExcellent communication skills: presentation, written, and oral.\nStrong Team player with a focus towards customer service.\nAbility to self-motivate and work in a dynamic environment.\nAutomotive industries experience is a plus.\nPhysical Job Requirements\nContinuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen.\nSitting for long periods of time.\nTravel as necessary (Drug Policy\nDealer Tire is a drug-free environment.
