The role combines payroll and bookkeeping and offers a dynamic and supportive environment with plenty of room to learn, take ownership, and make an impact.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the entire Israeli payroll process, including accurately and timely collecting, validating, and updating data in payroll systems.\nHandle onboarding and offboarding, including Forms 101 and 161.\nKeep the payroll system and the employee database continuously up to date.\nManage pension contributions, education funds (Keren Hishtalmut), and insurance plans, and follow up with insurance providers.\nPrepare monthly and annual reports for the National Insurance Institute and the Israel Tax Authority (Forms 102, 126, and 106).\nServe as a point of reference on payroll-related questions and requests.\nWork smoothly with internal teams (HR, Finance, Admin) and outside parties (insurance companies, pension funds, government authorities).\nSupport bookkeeping, focusing mainly on accounts payable.\nRequirements\nCertified Payroll Accountant.\n2 years of hands-on experience preparing/ assisting payroll process.\nAt least 1 year of bookkeeping experience.\nStrong Excel skills.\nSolid knowledge of Israeli payroll, including personal income tax, labor law, and social benefits.\nExcellent verbal and written skills in both English and Hebrew.\nHigh accuracy, strong attention to detail, and excellent organization.\nAble to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.\nStrong interpersonal skills and a service mindset.\nIntegrity, discretion, and a strong sense of responsibility.\nMotivated, quick to learn, and accountable.\nStrong Advantages\nExperience with Michpal.\nExperience with Priority or NetSuite.\nExperience with other Israeli payroll systems (for example, Hilan) or an HRIS (for example, HiBob).\nExperience at a high-tech company or
