This role is responsible for placing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, managing supplier relationships, negotiating purchasing terms, following up on open orders, and ensuring timely product availability.\nThe ideal candidate has purchasing experience, is highly tech-savvy, possesses strong Excel skills, has excellent organizational abilities, and demonstrates exceptional follow-through and communication. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory levels and supporting the company's continued growth.\nKey Responsibilities\nCreate and manage purchase orders for distributed product lines.\nMonitor inventory levels and place replenishment orders to maintain optimal stock availability.\nNegotiate pricing, freight terms, lead times, and other purchasing terms with manufacturers and distributors.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and supplier representatives.\nFollow up with manufacturers and suppliers regarding order confirmations, shipment status, backorders, and expected delivery dates.\nCommunicate supplier updates, inventory concerns, and product availability to internal teams.\nMaintain accurate purchasing records and item data within company software systems.\nReview open purchase orders and proactively resolve delays, shortages, and discrepancies.\nWork closely with sales, customer service, warehouse, and operations teams to support customer demand.\nAnalyze inventory trends, lead times, supplier performance, and purchasing opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.\nAssist with demand forecasting and inventory planning activities.\nGenerate and maintain purchasing reports using Excel and company software systems.\nEnsure pricing, product availability, and vendor information remain accurate and up to date.\nQualifications\n Purchasing and negotiation experience required.\nHighly tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems and technologies.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, data analysis, and spreadsheet management.\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills.\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nOutstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.\nSelf-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and
