You will also gain valuable experience in a niche financial market area of securitization and learn new methodologies.\nOur Data analytics process consists of the following:\nGathering of data - We automatically gather data from a variety of sources\nExtracting of data - We extract data from any file format, including PDF\nTransforming of data - We then clean, restructure, aggregate and classify the data\nQuality Assurance - We perform automated and manual quality assurance steps\nAnalysing of data - We analyse and get insights into the data\nDelivering of data - We deliver the data and insights via a website or feed.\nWhat you’ll do\nMapping of collateral data from CLO (Collaterised Loan Obligations) portfolio reports to a standardised set of loan instruments.\nMapping is primarily carried out via text matches of the asset / borrower name and the terms and conditions of the asset (typically a leveraged loan).\nMapping will be carried out using a custom built browser based mapping application.\nMapping will need to be carried out to a tight schedule.\nPerforming of Quality Assurance steps.\nScrutinising of legal documents and identifying of relevant information from Deal documents pertaining to CLOs, CMBS etc.\nPerforming of Deal set up and Extraction rules set up on system.\nDetection and rectification of legacy data when errors are found to be present\nLiaising with development team to suggest improvements / changes to the system.\nLiaising with loan instrument pricing team to suggest updates to existing data.\nContribute and participate in Ad-Hoc projects.\nWhat we are looking for\nGood eye for detail and the ability to digest and makes decisions based on a large volume of information.\nA strong ability in the effective use of a variety of applications.\nQuick learner, analytical and problem-solving mind-set\nEnthusiastic about new concepts and a strong desire to strive for improvement\nHighly organized and efficient in time management.\nA determination to process tasks according to pre-defined processes is essential.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills \nFlexibility in terms of working hours.\nAbility to work under pressure & multi-task, using a team approach to solve problem when appropriate.\nExcellent teamwork skills and work effectively in cross-functional teams\nQualifications:\nDegree in Finance/ Banking/ Mathematics/ Business/ Statistics or any other related field.\nAt least one year of working experience in relevant field\nNice to have:\nPrior experience in performing of reconciliation would be good, although this is not a mathematical reconciliation.\nUnderstanding of Fixed income securities.\nUnderstanding of Loan basics. \nUnderstanding of CLOs (Collaterised Loan Obligations), CDOs (Collaterised Debt Obligations), ABS (Asset-Backed Securities) and Bonds. \nAll of the above would be advantageous, but appropriate training will be given to the right candidate. \nWhat’s in it for you?\nOur internal employee handbook, including details about our benefits, is published publicly -
