You will work with a select team providing audit services to predominately US-inbound international businesses.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nManage assurance engagements from start to finish, including reviewing workpapers and financial statements & preparing assurance files and binders for assurance director review\nDevelop and maintain productive relationships with client management throughout the year\nEstablish expectations of value to be delivered\nParticipate in performing audit procedures for assigned clients, especially focusing on complex and/or specialized issues\nCollaborate to plan engagement objectives that comply with professional standards and appropriately address risk\nDevelop an understanding of the client's industry and recognize key performance indicators, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments\nStay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the audit client\nDevelop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team\nDelegate work to team members successfully\nConduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training\nUse technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery\nMaintain professional education and continually develop skills\nMaintain cooperative relationships with other teams\nUnderstand the firm and its clients and actively assess/present ways to apply knowledge and services\nDevelop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally\nInterdisciplinary cooperation with tax consultants\nBusy Season (January - mid-April)\nTravel is moderate, generally during busy season\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications:\n10-15+ years of professional experience including experience in public accounting\nBA/BS degree in Accounting or MA/MS degree in Accounting/Taxation\nDedication to teamwork and leadership\nIntegrity within a professional environment\nExcellent research, writing, and communication skills in English\nWillingness to travel domestically\nCPA license or similar certification required\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience in the manufacturing and distribution industry\nProSystem fx Engagement experience\nCCH Axcess experience\nBenefits\nThe Fun Stuff\nWork isn’t all work!
