That is why we offer great compensation, awesome benefits, and a work environment worth bragging about!\n DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking highly motivated Herbicide Applicator Technicians responsible for spraying right aways, roadsides, removing weeds, trimming, and cutting grass and brush. This is accomplished with a spray truck, an ATV, a backpack sprayer, or by dragging a hose.\nComplete all DOT required truck inspections completely (responsible to identify and trouble shoot truck/spray system issues or needed repairs.\nKeep truck and equipment clean and always organized.\nIndividuals will be trained to be capable of calibrating all spray equipment.\nIndividuals will be trained in the basic understanding of weed, grass, and brush types.\nIndividuals will be trained to have a general knowledge of methods and chemicals used, what they control, and all safety requirements to meet the customers' expectations.\n EDUCATION:\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent is required.\nEXPERIENCE:\n21+ years of age or older.\nA valid driver's license required (5 years clean (MVR) motor vehicle record)\nSuccessfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check.\n Must be able to travel away from home for up to 4-6 weeks at a time (Hotel paid for by DCS and per-diem).\nHerbicide application experience is preferred but not required\nCommercial Pesticide Applicators preferred: Category C6, but not required for hire.
