That is why we offer great compensation, awesome benefits, and a work environment worth bragging about!\n As a Highway Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the project’s day-to-day maintenance, servicing, repairs of roads, and other infrastructure assets. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining contracted assets (such as roadways, medians, signs, guardrails, fences, bridges, tunnels, vegetation, etc.) per standards in the contract and as directed by the supervisor.\nMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:\nDemonstrate a positive safety culture by following all safety policies, procedures, and practices.\nSet up and remove traffic control devices (cones, signs, message/arrow boards, etc.) to ensure safe Maintenance of Traffic (MOT).\nPerform highway maintenance and repairs including pothole patching, striping, reflector/delineator installation, and concrete/asphalt work.\nMaintain roadway cleanliness through litter and debris removal using tools such as litter claws or similar devices.\nRepair and maintain drainage systems, slopes, berms, and culverts using hand and power tools.\nControl vegetation growth using mowing equipment, trimmers, sprayers, and other methods.\nMaintain and repair signs, guardrails, fences, and lighting using appropriate tools and materials.\nWork comfortably at heights using bucket trucks, scaffolding, ladders, or aerial platforms.\nParticipate in emergency response rotations, including availability for overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.\nAdhere to all company policies and procedures at all times.\nTransport crew and equipment using pickup trucks and specialized vehicles/trailers.\nConduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs on trucks and equipment.\nFoster positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.\nPromote a customer service-focused environment among team members.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n Education:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.\nExperience:\nExperience with skid steer, wheel loader, mini excavator, and tractor\nAt least 18 years of age\nAble to work outdoors in all weather conditions\nMust have reliable transportation\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record (minimum 5 years)\nOpen availability, including overtime and emergency on-call rotation\nWilling to travel as needed\nAble to work independently and as part of a team\nCommitted to maintaining a safe work environment\nMust follow company drug and alcohol policy\nPreferred: First Aid/CPR certification\nPreferred: Advanced MOT certification\nPreferred: Commerical Driver's License (Class A or B) \n Benefit Highlights:\nChallenging and rewarding work environment\nCompetitive Compensation\nExcellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plan\nShort and Long Term Disability, Life, Supplemental Plans, Pet Insurance & Legal available\n401(K) with company match\nGenerous Paid Time Off\nCareer Development\nPay rate: $17/ hourly\nCome be a part of the DeAngelo family, today!\nDCSAM is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all hiring and employment regulations.
