This individual will play a vital role in the full accounting cycle, from transaction processing to the generation of insightful financial reports. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing accounting processes, and supporting the company's financial strategy through detailed analysis and reporting. Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n\n3-5+ years of proven experience in a comprehensive accounting role.\n\nHigh proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle NetSuite) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas).\n\nExceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.\n\nStrong organizational and time-management abilities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.\n\nDemonstrated integrity, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information.\n\nEvaluation Metrics\n\nTimeliness and accuracy of month-end closing and financial reporting.\n\nEfficiency of the month-end close process, measured by days to close.\n\nSuccessful and clean outcomes from internal and external audits.\n\nIdentification and implementation of process improvements and cost-saving measures.\n\nAdherence to all tax and regulatory deadlines.\n\nResponsibilities\nManage and oversee the entire month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.\n\nPrepare and present key financial statements, including the Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows.\n\nPerform detailed general ledger reconciliations and analysis to ensure the accuracy of financial data.\n\nAssist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial transactions.\n\nAnalyze financial data and variances, providing insights and recommendations to management for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.\n\nDevelop and implement improvements for accounting processes and internal controls to increase accuracy and efficiency.\n\nMentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.\n\nManage fixed asset accounting, including depreciation schedules and asset tracking.\n\nCollaborate with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and to support budgeting and forecasting
