We welcome chefs from different culinary backgrounds who are willing to learn, grow and work as part of a team.\n\nKey responsibilities\n\nAssist with daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth food preparation and service.\n\nPrepare and cook dishes according to recipes and kitchen standards.\n\nWork with the kitchen team to maintain consistent food quality, taste and presentation.\n\nAssist with food preparation, mise en place and general kitchen duties.\n\nMaintain a clean, organized and hygienic kitchen in accordance with food safety requirements.\n\nAssist with stock checking, ingredient preparation and minimizing food wastage.\n\nWork closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations and support new menu ideas where appropriate.\n\nSupport other kitchen duties and assist junior team members when required, as reasonably assigned by management.\n\nRequirements\nAbout you\n\nExperience: Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is preferred, but candidates with less experience who are passionate about cooking are also welcome to apply.\n\nCulinary Background: Experience in Chinese cuisine is an advantage, but we also welcome candidates from Cantonese, Huaiyang, Malay, Japanese, Western, Fusion or other culinary backgrounds.\n\nSkills: Basic cooking and food preparation skills, with a willingness to learn and improve.\n\nLanguage: Mandarin, English or Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.
