This site-based role requires strong knowledge of mission-critical infrastructure, commissioning execution, system integration, testing documentation, and performance validation across electrical, mechanical, ICT, and compute-related systems.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience supporting commissioning and IST execution for data center, mission-critical, high-performance computing, industrial, or technically complex facilities. The role requires hands-on experience with commissioning coordination, test execution, issue tracking, GPU/accelerator burn-in, thermal-soak testing, and compute-fabric validation.\nYou will play a key role in supporting the safe, reliable, and successful transition of the facility from construction completion through commissioning, integrated testing, operational readiness, and handover.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nSupport commissioning and IST execution activities across mission-critical data center systems, ensuring testing is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with approved procedures.\nCoordinate with commissioning managers, contractors, vendors, OEMs, MEP teams, ICT teams, operations teams, and client representatives during testing and validation activities.\nReview and support commissioning plans, method statements, test scripts, IST procedures, checklists, risk assessments, and commissioning schedules.\nSupport Integrated Systems Testing for electrical, mechanical, controls, ICT, and computer-related systems.\nAssist in validating system readiness before commissioning, including documentation review, installation verification, pre-functional checks, and issue closeout.\nSupport GPU and accelerator burn-in testing, including coordination of test environments, equipment readiness, monitoring requirements, and performance validation.\nSupport thermal-soak testing activities to validate cooling performance, stability, load response, and environmental control under sustained operating conditions.\nSupport compute-fabric validation activities, including coordination with ICT, network, hardware, and operations teams to verify connectivity, redundancy, performance, and system integration.\nMonitor and document test results, deficiencies, failures, observations, and corrective actions during commissioning and IST activities.\nCoordinate with project teams to track and close commissioning issues, punch list items, defects, and non-conformances.\nVerify that commissioning activities are aligned with approved drawings, specifications, sequence of operations, operational requirements, and client standards.\nSupport testing of critical infrastructure, including MV/LV electrical distribution, UPS systems, generators, ATS, switchgear, grounding, cooling systems, CRAH/CRAC units, chilled water systems, BMS, EPMS, fire alarm, ICT, and network infrastructure.\nParticipate in commissioning meetings, readiness reviews, test coordination sessions, daily briefings, and lessons learned reviews.\nSupport commissioning documentation, including test records, issue logs, commissioning reports, turnover documentation, and final acceptance records.\nIdentify commissioning risks, interface issues, access constraints, sequencing gaps, and operational readiness concerns, escalating them to project leadership when required.\nSupport safe testing practices, including LOTO, Permit-to-Work, energized systems coordination, test boundary control, and emergency response requirements.\nCoordinate with operations teams to ensure testing outcomes support handover, system reliability, maintainability, and operational readiness.\nPerform other related duties as required and assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequired qualifications:\n10+ years of experience in commissioning, IST execution, data center operations, MEP systems testing, ICT validation, facility engineering, or mission-critical infrastructure delivery.\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related technical field.\nExperience supporting commissioning activities on data center, mission-critical, high-performance computing, industrial, or technically complex projects.\nHands-on experience supporting Integrated Systems Testing (IST) execution.\nExperience supporting or coordinating GPU/accelerator burn-in and thermal-soak testing activities.\nExperience supporting compute-fabric validation, ICT infrastructure validation, network readiness, or systems integration testing.\nStrong understanding of mission-critical electrical and mechanical systems, including power distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, ATS, grounding, cooling systems, CRAH/CRAC units, chilled water systems, BMS, EPMS, and related infrastructure.\nAbility to review and interpret commissioning plans, test scripts, drawings, specifications, sequence of operations, method statements, inspection records, and technical documentation.\nExperience tracking test results, deficiencies, commissioning issues, punch lists, corrective actions, and closeout documentation.\nStrong understanding of commissioning safety requirements, including LOTO, Permit-to-Work, energized testing, PPE, isolation procedures, and test boundary control.\nAbility to coordinate with contractors, vendors, OEMs, consultants, client representatives, commissioning teams, ICT teams, and operations teams.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify system issues and support practical resolution.\nExcellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure commissioning environment.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience working on hyperscale data centers, AI data centers, GPU clusters, high-performance computing facilities, or large-scale mission-critical environments.\nExperience working in a PMC, owner’s representative, consultant, commissioning agent, contractor, or client-side technical delivery environment.\nPrevious experience working in Dubai, the UAE, or the wider GCC region.\nFamiliarity with data center commissioning standards, IST methodologies, operational readiness requirements, and client testing protocols.\nKnowledge of liquid cooling, high-density racks, GPU infrastructure, accelerator platforms, network fabric, rack power, telemetry, and thermal performance validation.\nProfessional certifications such as CxA, BCxP, CDCP, CDCS, Uptime Institute ATS/ATD, PMP, NFPA 70E, or relevant commissioning/data center credentials.\nFamiliarity with commissioning management, document control, and project platforms such as CxAlloy, Facility Grid, Aconex, Procore, BIM 360, Oracle Primavera Cloud, or similar systems.\nFamiliarity with Primavera P6 or Microsoft
