Learn more about Deciphera, a member of Ono Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., by visiting our website: https://deciphera.com\n The Associate Director, Clinical Scientist plays a key role in the execution of clinical development programs, partnering with Medical Directors and cross-functional study teams to support clinical data review, interpretation, study documentation, and communication of findings.\nThis is a hands-on role for an experienced Clinical Scientist who can work independently, identify and escalate meaningful clinical findings, and collaborate effectively across Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, and other functions.\nKey Responsibilities:\nClinical Data Review & Study Execution\nLead ongoing clinical data review to support data quality, interpretation, and patient safety.\n\nIdentify and escalate clinically relevant findings and partner with study teams to resolve data-related issues.\n\nCollaborate with Data Management and Clinical Operations on study implementation and EDC development.\n\nClinical Documents & Data Outputs\nContribute to the development and review of clinical documents, including study protocols, investigator brochures, regulatory documents, concept materials, and other study-related documentation.\n\nReview and interpret clinical study data and outputs in partnership with Biostatistics, Pharmacovigilance, and other stakeholders.\n\nCross-Functional & Scientific Leadership\nRepresent Clinical Development on cross-functional study teams and work closely with Medical Directors and other functional partners.\n\nPrepare and present clinical data, study designs, and scientific information for study teams, investigator meetings, advisory boards, study committees, and other internal or external audiences.\n\nOther duties and responsibilities as assigned\n PhD or equivalent degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s/master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant post-graduate experience, including pharmaceutical industry experience in clinical drug or biologics development.\n\nExperience as a Clinical Scientist or in a comparable clinical development role with the ability to work independently.\n\nHands-on experience reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting clinical trial data.\n\nStrong cross-functional collaboration, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.\n\nPreferred Capabilities:\nExperience supporting Phase I-III clinical development programs.\n\nClinical development experience in oncology and/or neurology.\n\nRare disease experience.\n\n Flexible hybrid or remote work arrangement within approved U.S. working locations. Up to 20% business travel may be required. \nDeciphera is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary pay range for this role is $193,000 - $230,000. Actual compensation packages will depend on various factors, including but not limited to depth of experience, education, skillset, overall performance, and location.\nDeciphera believes in providing a competitive compensation and benefits package to all employees.
