The lead will coordinate multidisciplinary teams through requirements definition, solution development, integration, testing, deployment, and operational adoption.\nThe AI Integration Task Lead will guide the integration of AI into mission workflows while coordinating data readiness, technical dependencies, security considerations, human oversight, training, and measurable mission outcomes.\nThis position is remote, with Chicago-area candidates preferred.\nNote: By applying to this position, you acknowledge and consent to having your resume included in an active competitive government contract bid.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nThe AI Integration Task Lead will:\nLead planning, coordination, and implementation activities for the AI Integration task. \nWork with Government representatives and mission owners to identify operational needs, define priorities, and establish implementation objectives. \nDevelop and maintain AI implementation roadmaps, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and status reporting. \nCoordinate multidisciplinary teams supporting AI architecture, application development, data engineering, MLOps, cybersecurity, testing, training, and operations. \nTranslate mission requirements into coordinated technical and operational work packages. \nEvaluate and prioritize AI use cases based on mission value, feasibility, data readiness, implementation effort, and operational risk. \nGuide integration of AI capabilities into existing applications, business processes, decision workflows, and user activities. \nCoordinate requirements, acceptance criteria, testing approaches, and release-readiness expectations with Government stakeholders. \nAlign implementation activities with approved architectures, data sources, integration interfaces, and cloud environments. \nCoordinate controls for human review, approvals, access permissions, auditability, exception handling, and escalation. \nTrack technical and organizational dependencies and resolve or escalate impediments affecting delivery. \nCoordinate with data and MLOps personnel on dataset readiness, model evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and controlled updates. \nCoordinate with cybersecurity personnel on applicable security requirements, authorization activities, and remediation actions. \nSupport demonstrations, user acceptance testing, Government reviews, and implementation decisions. \nPlan operational handoffs, technical documentation, user guidance, training, and support arrangements. \nWork with training and mission teams to support workforce adoption and effective use of AI capabilities. \nMonitor implementation progress, user feedback, operational performance, and mission outcomes. \nPrepare briefings, decision materials, risk assessments, recommendations, and task status reports. \nIncorporate lessons learned into future implementation plans and continuous improvement activities. \nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nThe following must-have qualifications are drawn from the supplied position requirements:\nActive Secret clearance or higher. \nMinimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience. \nBachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data science, or a related field, or a permitted equivalent. \nExperience leading AI implementation initiatives. \nExperience integrating AI capabilities into mission or operational workflows. \nExperience leading multidisciplinary teams. \nExperience coordinating with Government representatives and stakeholders. \nAbility to lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of AI capabilities across organizational processes and workflows. \nApplicable DoD 8570 certification if assigned information assurance management or engineering duties. \nPreferred Qualifications\nThe following qualifications are preferred but are not required:\nProject management or Agile certification. \nRelevant AI or cloud certification. \nExperience leading AI initiatives within federal or Department of Defense environments. \nExperience moving AI capabilities from pilot or prototype stages into sustained operational use. \nFamiliarity with knowledge assistants, retrieval workflows, AI agents, and enterprise application integration. \nFamiliarity with MLOps, model evaluation, model monitoring, data governance, and secure data pipelines. \nExperience establishing human oversight, approval checkpoints, and traceable AI implementation controls. \nExperience coordinating user acceptance testing, deployment readiness, operational handoffs, and workforce training. \nExperience measuring adoption, operational improvements, and mission impact. \nStrong stakeholder facilitation, technical communication, risk management, and problem-solving skills. \nOur Equal Employment Opportunity Policy\nEEO and Affirmative Action Policy: DecisionPoint Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
