This role maintains CI/CD pipelines, security scanning automation, deployment processes, and version control workflows for cloud-hosted and CMS-integrated applications.\nThe E-EFMP DevSecOps Engineer works closely with engineers, developers, cybersecurity teams, and system administrators to ensure secure, reliable, and repeatable deployments across all environments.\nThis position is fully remote.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nThe E-EFMP DevSecOps Engineer will:\nSupport CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and code integration workflows. \nImplement and maintain security scanning, SAST/DAST tooling, and dependency checks. \nManage CMS and application environment configurations across DEV, TEST, STAGE, and PROD. \nMaintain version control repositories, branching standards, and merge patterns. \nCollaborate with developers to ensure secure coding, build reliability, and release readiness. \nSupport automated infrastructure provisioning using cloud-native tools and IaC frameworks. \nTroubleshoot pipeline failures, build issues, configuration errors, and deployment blockers. \nOptimize pipeline performance, deployment speed, and automation reliability. \nDocument pipeline processes, configuration standards, and environment setup procedures. \nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, and release preparation. \nQualifications\nClearance Requirement\nMust hold an active Secret clearance, supported by a Tier 3 background investigation.\nEducation (Required)\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, DevSecOps, Cybersecurity, IT Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience (Required)\nMinimum 5 years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, cloud engineering, or software automation roles. \nExperience supporting CI/CD pipelines, code integration, and deployment automation. \nExperience implementing security scanning tools and secure DevSecOps practices. \nExperience configuring and managing version control systems (Git-based). \nExperience supporting enterprise applications in cloud or hybrid environments. \nTechnical Knowledge (Required)\nKnowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps. \nUnderstanding of SAST/DAST tools, dependency scanning, and security automation. \nFamiliarity with IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. \nUnderstanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). \nKnowledge of secure configuration practices within DoD or federal environments. \nTechnical Knowledge (Preferred)\nExperience with AWS certifications or AWS-specific automation. \nExperience supporting CMS environments in a DevSecOps context. \nFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools integrated with pipelines. \nCertifications\nRequired:\nCompTIA Security+ \nPreferred:\nAWS cloud certifications \nITIL v4 Foundation \nDevOps or DevSecOps certifications \nSkills\nStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across build and deployment pipelines. \nExcellent communication and documentation abilities. \nAbility to collaborate effectively with developers, engineers, and cybersecurity teams. \nStrong attention to detail and adherence to secure engineering practices. \nAbility to manage multiple deployments and configuration tasks in a fast-paced mission environment. \nOur Equal Employment Opportunity Policy\nEEO and Affirmative Action Policy: DecisionPoint Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
