These roles ensure high-quality, secure, and accessible software releases through structured testing, defect reproduction, and compliance validation.\nThe E-EFMP QA / 508 / Test Engineers collaborate with developers, product owners, UX designers, and cybersecurity teams to validate functionality, accessibility, and performance before deployments.\nThese positions are fully remote.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nThe E-EFMP QA / 508 / Test Engineer will:\nDevelop test plans, test cases, and scripts for manual and automated testing. \nExecute functional, regression, integration, and UAT tests. \nReproduce defects, collect logs, and document root-cause details for developers. \nValidate accessibility compliance using WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 standards. \nConduct cross-browser and responsive UI testing. \nTest API functionality, error handling, and backend interactions. \nMaintain test documentation including results, traceability matrices, and defect reports. \nContribute to automated test suites and help expand automation coverage. \nCollaborate with developers and business analysts to validate acceptance criteria. \nParticipate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint-based testing cycles. \nProvide recommendations to improve overall quality, accessibility, and testing processes. \nQualifications\nClearance Requirement\nMust hold an active Secret clearance, supported by a Tier 3 background investigation.\nEducation (Required)\nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, QA/Testing, or a related technical field.\nExperience (Required)\nMinimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, accessibility testing, or software testing roles. \nExperience performing manual and automated test execution. \nExperience with WCAG/508 accessibility validation. \nExperience testing web applications and APIs. \nExperience documenting defects and test results clearly and accurately. \nTechnical Knowledge (Required)\nStrong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile testing practices. \nUnderstanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 / Section 508). \nExperience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.). \nFamiliarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI). \nTechnical Knowledge (Preferred)\nExperience in a DoD or federal IT environment. \nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipeline integration for testing. \nUnderstanding of load and performance testing tools. \nCertifications\nRequired:\nWCAG / Section 508 Accessibility Certification \nPreferred:\nCompTIA Security+ \nITIL v4 Foundation \nCertified Software Tester (CSTE) or similar QA certifications \nSkills\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. \nStrong written communication skills for defect reporting and documentation. \nHigh attention to detail and dedication to quality. \nAbility to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and UX teams. \nStrong organization and ability to balance multiple test cycles. \nOur Equal Employment Opportunity Policy\nEEO and Affirmative Action Policy: DecisionPoint Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
