These roles ensure that E-EFMP digital services are intuitive, accessible, efficient, and aligned with human-centered design practices.\nThe UI/UX Designers work closely with product managers, developers, business analysts, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into polished design deliverables that improve usability and support the mission’s service needs.\nThese positions are fully remote. \nDuties & Responsibilities\nThe E-EFMP UI/UX Designer will:\nDevelop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user journey maps for E-EFMP applications. \nConduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions. \nTranslate user requirements and mission workflows into intuitive, user-centered designs. \nCreate low- and high-fidelity prototypes using industry-standard tools. \nDocument interaction patterns, navigation structures, and visual design guidance. \nWork with developers to ensure UI/UX designs are implemented accurately and effectively. \nEnsure compliance with accessibility standards, including Section 508/WCAG guidelines. \nCreate and maintain style guides, component libraries, and design documentation. \nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint reviews, planning, and refinement. \nAnalyze user feedback and usage data to refine designs and improve user experience. \nQualifications\nClearance Requirement\nMust hold an active Secret clearance, supported by a Tier 3 background investigation.\nEducation (Required)\nBachelor’s degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Digital Arts, or a related field.\nExperience (Required)\nMinimum 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, human-centered design, or digital interface development. \nExperience developing wireframes, prototypes, and user interface assets. \nExperience conducting usability testing or user-centered research. \nExperience collaborating with engineering, product, and business teams. \nTechnical Knowledge (Required)\nProficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar. \nStrong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and user research methodologies. \nKnowledge of accessibility design standards (WCAG, Section 508). \nTechnical Knowledge (Preferred)\nExperience supporting DoD or federal digital service environments. \nFamiliarity with component-based UI development or design systems. \nExperience working with analytics or user behavior data to inform design. \nCertifications (Preferred)\nUX/UI design certifications \nITIL v4 Foundation \nHuman-centered design or usability credentials \nSkills\nStrong visual design and interaction design skills. \nExcellent communication and presentation abilities. \nAbility to produce clear, detailed, and user-focused design documentation. \nHigh attention to detail and iterative problem-solving mindset. \nAbility to collaborate effectively in Agile, cross-functional teams. \nOur Equal Employment Opportunity Policy\nEEO and Affirmative Action Policy: DecisionPoint Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
