This role is central to ensuring that digital properties remain user-friendly, visually consistent, accessible, and aligned with enterprise design and content standards.\nThe Front-End Developer works closely with designers, content managers, UX specialists, and backend engineers to implement interface changes, optimize user experience, and contribute to structured, maintainable front-end code.\nThis position is fully remote. \nDuties & Responsibilities\nThe Front-End Developer will:\nImplement UI updates, CSS adjustments, and formatting refinements to improve user experience and consistency. \nApply accessibility (508/WCAG) fixes including semantic markup, alt-text, keyboard navigation, and structural updates. \nSupport content-driven code changes including template adjustments, layout updates, and component enhancements. \nCollaborate with UX, design, and content teams to translate requirements into responsive, standards-compliant front-end code. \nConduct cross-browser testing and troubleshoot rendering inconsistencies. \nOptimize page performance, asset delivery, and front-end load times. \nMaintain reusable front-end components and support design system implementation. \nPerform code reviews and adhere to secure coding, documentation, and version control practices. \nValidate front-end changes in development, staging, and production environments. \nEnsure all updates follow enterprise brand, content, and accessibility guidelines. \nQualifications\nClearance Requirement\nCandidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher.\nEducation (Required)\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related technical field.\nExperience (Required)\nMinimum 5 years of experience in front-end development. \nExperience implementing UI changes, style updates, and content-driven code modifications. \nExperience ensuring Section 508/WCAG accessibility compliance. \nExperience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams including UX, design, and content roles. \nTechnical Knowledge (Required)\nProficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design. \nFamiliarity with front-end frameworks or component libraries. \nUnderstanding of accessibility requirements (508/WCAG) and semantic coding. \nExperience with version control (Git) and structured front-end workflows. \nTechnical Knowledge (Preferred)\nExperience with CMS-driven environments. \nFamiliarity with federal or DoD digital environments. \nExperience with performance optimization tools or continuous integration workflows. \nSkills\nStrong attention to detail in UI, formatting, and accessibility. \nExcellent problem-solving and debugging skills. \nAbility to balance iterative fixes with long-term front-end improvements. \nStrong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams. \nAbility to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality updates under deadlines. \nOur Equal Employment Opportunity Policy\nEEO and Affirmative Action Policy: DecisionPoint Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
