The ideal candidate has experience developing production mobile applications, integrating RESTful APIs and cloud services, managing mobile CI/CD pipelines, and supporting Apple App Store and Google Play releases.\nThis position is fully remote.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nMobile Application Engineering\nDevelop and maintain mobile applications for Apple iOS and Google Android.\nImplement new features, enhancements, and modernization initiatives.\nTranslate user stories, UX designs, and technical requirements into reliable mobile solutions.\nDevelop responsive, accessible, and platform-appropriate user interfaces.\nTroubleshoot crashes, performance issues, integration failures, and production defects.\nSupport native and cross-platform mobile development technologies.\nAPI, Cloud & DevSecOps Support\nIntegrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, databases, identity services, AWS-hosted systems, and third-party services.\nImplement authentication, push notifications, analytics, secure storage, caching, synchronization, and offline functionality.\nSupport Git-based source control, automated testing, build processes, and mobile CI/CD pipelines.\nManage application signing, provisioning, testing, deployment, and release activities.\nSupport application submissions and updates through Apple App Store and Google Play.\nSecurity, Accessibility & Quality\nApply secure mobile-development practices throughout the software development lifecycle.\nSupport vulnerability remediation, code reviews, automated testing, and production monitoring.\nDevelop applications consistent with Section 508 and applicable accessibility requirements.\nSupport RMF, Zero Trust, NIST SP 800-53, privacy, and Authority to Operate requirements.\nMonitor application crashes, performance data, platform warnings, and user feedback.\nAgile Delivery & Collaboration\nParticipate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and retrospectives.\nCollaborate with product owners, UX designers, business analysts, testers, architects, cybersecurity personnel, and Government stakeholders.\nProvide estimates, technical documentation, status updates, and implementation recommendations.\nContribute technical ideas and modernization recommendations to the mobile product roadmap.\nThe Military OneSource Mobile Application Engineer will help deliver secure, accessible, and reliable mobile services that connect military members and families with trusted information, resources, and support.Qualifications\nClearance Requirement\nMust hold an active Secret clearance.\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
