This role builds reusable templates, UI components, interactive features, and front-end architectures that support enterprise content, applications, and mission-critical digital experiences.\nThe Senior Front-End Developer collaborates closely with UX designers, backend engineers, product managers, and CMS administrators to ensure UI consistency, performance, accessibility, and secure integration with backend systems.\nThis position is fully remote.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nThe Senior Front-End Developer will:\nDevelop responsive, accessible, and performant pages, templates, components, and UI elements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. \nBuild reusable component libraries aligned with design system standards. \nImplement user interaction and dynamic behaviors through front-end scripting and frameworks. \nEnsure Section 508/WCAG accessibility compliance across all UI implementations. \nCollaborate with backend developers and CMS engineers on API integrations and data-driven UI elements. \nOptimize page load performance, rendering efficiency, and front-end asset usage. \nTroubleshoot UI issues across browsers, devices, and environments. \nSupport code reviews, version control workflows, and best coding practices. \nContribute to style guides, front-end documentation, and component usage standards. \nWork within Agile teams to deliver user stories, participate in sprints, and support deployment cycles. \nQualifications\nClearance Requirement\nMust hold an active Secret clearance, supported by a Tier 3 background investigation.\nEducation (Required)\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience (Required)\nMinimum 7 years of professional experience in front-end development. \nExperience developing enterprise-grade UI components, user interfaces, or responsive sites. \nExperience working within Agile development teams and supporting iterative releases. \nExperience with cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, and performance optimization. \nTechnical Knowledge (Required)\nExpert-level skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design. \nExperience developing and maintaining component libraries or design systems. \nFamiliarity with accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508). \nUnderstanding of API-driven UI development. \nTechnical Knowledge (Preferred)\nExperience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular). \nExperience integrating with CMS platforms or headless content systems. \nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices. \nCertifications\nPreferred:\nITIL v4 Foundation \nFront-end or UX/UI development certifications \nSkills\nStrong UI/UX awareness and ability to translate design requirements into functioning interfaces. \nExcellent attention to detail and commitment to accessible, user-centered design. \nStrong communication and collaboration skills. \nAbility to troubleshoot complex UI issues and optimize front-end performance. \nStrong organizational skills and ability to meet sprint deadlines. \nOur Equal Employment Opportunity Policy\nEEO and Affirmative Action Policy: DecisionPoint Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
