The engineer will configure, secure, troubleshoot, and sustain Cisco voice systems supporting mission-critical communications across EACN operational and test environments.\nThe Voice Tier 3 Engineer will develop and maintain VoIP and Session Initiation Protocol connections, implement approved upgrades and security changes, and support integration with external customer voice networks.\nThis position primarily supports the EACN Systems Integration Laboratory and operational Air-to-GIG Gateway environments. On-site work and travel to supported Air Force locations may be required.\nNote: By applying to this position, you acknowledge and consent to having your resume included in an active competitive government contract bid.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nThe Voice Tier 3 Engineer will:\nConfigure, develop, patch, secure, and enhance Cisco VoIP systems. \nAdminister Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity, Instant Messaging and Presence, and teleconference bridges. \nConfigure and maintain Cisco Unified Border Elements, Session Border Controllers, Ribbon VX900 devices, and related voice infrastructure. \nDevelop and troubleshoot SIP connections between EACN and external customer voice networks. \nSupport integration with Call Manager Express, SRST, Asterisk, and other Cisco VoIP environments. \nTest voice-system patches, upgrades, and configuration changes before operational deployment. \nApply DISA STIGs and cybersecurity requirements to voice systems and supporting devices. \nTroubleshoot complex voice, call-routing, interoperability, and service-quality issues. \nSupport VoIP capabilities within the Systems Integration Laboratory and operational gateway environments. \nDevelop and maintain configuration guides, diagrams, checklists, and technical documentation. \nCoordinate voice-engineering activities with network engineers, cybersecurity personnel, site technicians, and Government stakeholders. \nProvide technical guidance and training to Government and contractor personnel. \nQualifications\nClearance Requirement:\nMust hold an active Top Secret clearance.\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.\nExperience:\nMinimum five years of VoIP experience. \nExperience configuring and sustaining enterprise Cisco voice environments. \nExperience with CUCM, Cisco Unity, SIP, Session Border Controllers, and voice gateways. \nExperience troubleshooting call routing, interoperability, and voice-quality issues. \nExperience supporting classified or mission-critical communications environments preferred. \nTechnical Knowledge:\nAdvanced knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager and enterprise VoIP architecture. \nKnowledge of SIP, call routing, dial plans, CUBE, Session Border Controllers, and SRST. \nFamiliarity with voice-system patching, STIG implementation, configuration management, and laboratory testing. \nUnderstanding of network technologies supporting voice services, including routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, and quality of service. \nAbility to document voice architectures, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. \nCertifications:\nCisco voice certification with a concentration in Cisco Unified Communications Manager required at the time of contract award. \nAppropriate DoDM 8140.03 and IAT Level II certification required. \nAdditional Cisco collaboration or cybersecurity certifications preferred. \nSkills:\nStrong voice-system troubleshooting and analytical abilities. \nExcellent technical documentation and communication skills. \nAbility to manage multiple technical priorities. \nAbility to collaborate with network, systems, and cybersecurity teams. \nAbility to perform on-site duties and travel as required. \nCompensation: Anticipated salary range is $79,759.00-$88,215.00 per year\nOur Equal Employment Opportunity Policy\nEEO and Affirmative Action Policy: DecisionPoint Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
