This role oversees leasing, maintenance, financial performance, and resident satisfaction while leading on-site team members. The Community Manager ensures the community meets company standards and upholds the values and service expectations of Decron Properties. \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities \nProvide leadership and direction to all on-site team members \nOversee day-to-day operations at the assigned residential community \nDevelop, manage, and analyze budgets, occupancy, collections, and expenses for each community \nMonitor and analyze financial performance, occupancy, rent collection, and expenses \nConduct regular property inspections \nLead hiring decisions and staff scheduling, performance management, and staff development \nMonitor and address resident satisfaction, concerns, and retention \nEnsure communities comply with Fair Housing, OSHA, local regulations, and company policies \nPartner with maintenance team to maintain physical asset condition and service response times \nReport on performance metrics and strategic updates to Residential Portfolio Manager \nMaintain consistent communication with Residential Portfolio Manager regarding community needs \nNon-Essential Duties \nSupport marketing efforts across communities during lease-up or high-turnover periods \nAssist with staff recruitment and onboarding as needed \nParticipate in company-wide initiatives, training, and events as needed \nOther duties as assigned \nRequired Qualifications \nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, Real Estate, or related field preferred \n5+ years of experience in multi-family residential property management, including at least 2 years managing multiple locations \nStrong financial and operational acumen \nExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills \nProficient in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage) \nIn-depth knowledge of Fair Housing laws, landlord-tenant regulations, and budgeting \nAbility to work weekends or extended hours as needed \nPreferred Qualifications \nCAM or ARM certification \nExperience managing communities with 150+ units \nWork Environment and Physical Requirements \nThis role is performed on-site at an apartment community and includes both office and property walkthroughs. \nFrequently walks property including stairs and outdoor areas \nAbility to lift up to 25 pounds \nUse standard office equipment and mobile devices \nCommunicate clearly and effectively in person, via phone, and electronically \nMay be exposed to outdoor elements during inspections \nCompany Values \nAll team members are expected to uphold and model our core values: \nIntegrity – We do what’s right, even when no one is watching. \nCommunity – We foster collaboration and connection with those we serve. \nJoy – We bring positivity and appreciation to our work. \nPride – We take ownership and celebrate a job well done. \nPersonal Responsibility – We hold ourselves accountable to commitments and results. \nContinuous Improvement – We embrace feedback, learning, and innovation. \nEqual Opportunity Statement \nDecron Properties is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
