You will work on scalable APIs, authentication and authorization mechanisms, data ingestion workflows, analytics-oriented services, and integrations with internal systems and data pipelines.\nYou will be expected to bring strong engineering judgment, balancing technical excellence with pragmatic delivery. The role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to shape core platform capabilities while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.\nWhat you will do\nDesign, develop, and maintain secure, scalable REST APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.\n\nImplement business logic, validation, persistence layers, and error handling following engineering best practices.\n\nBuild and enhance multi-tenant SaaS capabilities while ensuring proper tenant isolation and platform security.\n\nDesign and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, indexes, and database migrations.\n\nDevelop APIs supporting data ingestion, analytics, reporting, and dashboard experiences.\n\nIntegrate backend services with internal systems, data-processing workflows, and AI-driven platform components.\n\nImplement authentication and authorization logic using industry-standard security frameworks and protocols.\n\nWrite and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure platform reliability and maintainability.\n\nCollaborate closely with Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists.\n\nParticipate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and help drive engineering quality across the platform.\n\nIdentify implementation risks, provide realistic delivery estimates, and recommend practical technical solutions.\n\nWhat we expect from you\n5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot in production environments.\n\nSolid experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs.\n\nExcellent knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including: SQL optimization, Query performance tuning, Indexing strategies, Transactions, Data modeling.\n\nStrong understanding of security concepts and implementation, including: OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT authentication, Role-based access control, Authorization frameworks.\n\nProven experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and automated quality checks.\n\nAbility to work effectively in environments with evolving requirements and technical ambiguity.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic engineering mindset focused on delivering business value.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills when working across product, engineering, operations, and data teams.\n\nNice to have: Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms; Experience with AI-powered products, analytics platforms, or data-intensive applications;\nExperience collaborating with Data Science or Data Engineering teams; Familiarity with data pipelines, asynchronous processing, batch jobs, or workflow orchestration; Experience with object storage solutions such as Amazon S3, MinIO, or Google Cloud Storage; Exposure to microservices, event-driven architectures, or modular monoliths; Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native environment;
