We are on a mission to power the future of travel; come join us.\nWe are on a mission to power the future of travel; come join us.\nWhat does a great Finance Manager do?\nServe as a strategic finance partner to Central Functions teams, driving financial planning, analysis, and aiding investment decisions. This role ensures alignment with business objectives through robust forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.\nStrategic Finance Partnership:\nFunction as Finance partner to Central Functions leadership and divisional VPs, responsible for providing strategic finance support, including detailed cost analysis and insight. \nEngagement with supporting functional business leads as appropriate.\nResponsible for managing the forecasting and budgeting processes for all Central Functions\nResponsible for providing financial insights to guide strategic decisions.\nSupport planning and restructuring initiatives to optimize costs as required.\nResponsible for leading the design and development central functions performance reporting.\nTrack and report savings KPIs.\nSupport Strategic Projects on an ad hoc basis.\nAd-Hoc FP&A support as needed.\nMonth-End Close:\nResponsible for reviewing completion of month-end Central Functions close activities\nDelivery of accurate 5th-day estimates and variance analysis.\nLead central functions close calls, engaging with supporting teams as appropriate.\nResponsible for added value variance analysis alongside the FP&A centre of excellence team, as part of the financial close process.\nBudgeting & Forecasting:\nAnnual budgets and long-term (5-year) financial plans covering Product development and engineering resourcing.\nDeliver rolling 30/60/90-day forecasts to maintain agility.\nDeliver Annual budgets, outlooks and forecasts in accordance with FP&A timetables.\nCross-Functional Alignment:\nPartner with HR, SRM, and other functional teams to ensure financial integration and compliance.\nDrive continuous improvement in both processes and reporting including improving the development and monitoring of Financial KPIs, together with supporting transition to more automated reporting\n\nWho we are looking for in this role:\nAnalytical with strong business acumen\nProven track record in partnership support role. \nSelf-starter with initiative and the ability to communicate ideas effectively \nQualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA), late-stage active studier, or equivalent. \nPractical and proven experiences in an accounting environment \nGood interpersonal skills, and an ability to tailor their approach to deal with different levels of management\nPC literacy requiring experience in PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI.
