The role partners with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Continuous Improvement to improve asset performance, component life, safety, and throughput. As the program matures, the role will apply proven practices and provide reliability support across additional facilities in alignment with business priorities.\nThis role combines strong technical and mechanical aptitude with disciplined problem solving and the ability to influence action across the organization. The Engineer supports assigned lines, assets, and projects as business needs require, beginning at the bottling site and expanding to other sites over time.\nHow You Will Spend Your Time?\nReliability Strategy and Loss Elimination\nLead the initial bottling-site reliability program for assigned assets, focusing on chronic losses, repeat failures, and lifecycle improvement opportunities; establish repeatable practices that can be deployed at additional facilities over time.\nUse downtime, OEE, work-order, maintenance, and condition data to prioritize reliability work and quantify performance gaps.\nLead cross-functional loss-elimination projects from problem definition through implementation, sustainment, and confirmed benefits.\nParticipate in daily and weekly performance routines to connect reliability priorities with line losses and production plans.\nMaintain a visible reliability action plan showing priorities, owners, timing, risks, decisions, expected benefits, and verification status.\nFailure Analysis and Maintenance Strategy\nLead component-level breakdown analysis for critical assets; identify failure modes, contributing conditions, and actions that extend component life.\nFacilitate post-breakdown reviews for significant equipment failures and ensure corrective actions are tracked to verified closure.\nPartner with Maintenance and Operations to improve preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, lubrication, inspection, and basic-care strategies.\nDevelop and use asset criticality, FMEA, failure-mode libraries, bad-actor lists, and critical-spare strategies.\nPartner with planners and supervisors to improve failure coding, work-order history, and maintenance feedback.\nDevelop condition-monitoring routes and response standards for critical failure modes.\nDevelop and maintain a practical obsolescence strategy for critical assets, controls, and components, including risk identification, lifecycle plans, critical-spare decisions, and escalation of replacement needs.\nCapability Building and Standardization\nAdvance site problem-solving capability by facilitating and coaching practical methods such as 5-Why, fishbone, A3, DMAIC, and root-cause analysis.\nWork with operators, technicians, and technical trainers to improve centerlines, CILs, troubleshooting standards, escalation paths, and operator basic care.\nTrain and coach teams on reliability and problem-solving tools, with field observations and audits to verify adoption and effectiveness.\nDevelop, implement, and audit reliability standards-including criticality, failure coding, PM/PdM, condition monitoring, critical spares, and breakdown-review practices-aligned with the enterprise reliability strategy.\nPartner with the Director, Enterprise Maintenance & Reliability to translate enterprise standards into effective site execution, identify gaps, and share proven bottling-site practices as the role expands to other facilities.\nDocument analysis, standards, and lessons learned so successful improvements can be replicated, sustained, and scaled across facilities as the role’s scope expands.\nCapital and Lifecycle Improvement\nProvide technical input to capital projects, equipment modifications, and commissioning activities to improve maintainability and reliability by design.\nDrive component design improvements for recurring failures and high-cost lifecycle issues.\nIdentify opportunities for component standardization, critical-spare optimization, obsolescence risk mitigation, and vendor support.\nSafety, Quality, and Working Expectations\nPromote safe work practices and complete reliability actions in accordance with safety, quality, food-safety, GMP, and site work-control requirements.\nSpend substantial time in bottling, warehouse, and storage areas conducting observations, audits, troubleshooting, and project work; as responsibilities expand, provide similar on-site support at other facilities. Use required PPE and follow all site safety procedures.\nSupport scheduled production and maintenance windows, including off-shift or weekend work when required for critical troubleshooting, trials, or project execution.\nWho You Are…\nRequired Skills and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Reliability Engineering, or a related technical field\nMinimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing, maintenance, reliability, engineering, or a closely related technical environment.\nExperience with bottling, packaging, food and beverage, consumer goods, or another high-speed manufacturing operation is preferred.\nStrong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls systems used in bottling or high-speed manufacturing.\nDemonstrated application of FMEA, root-cause analysis, life-data concepts, Pareto analysis, and failure-mode analysis.\nAbility to interpret equipment, maintenance, production, and CMMS data and convert findings into practical improvement actions.\nStrong facilitation, communication, and coaching skills, with the ability to influence across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and technical teams.\nWorking knowledge of CMMS and maintenance work-management practices; experience with eMaint, IFS, SAP, or similar systems preferred.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver measurable, sustained results.\nValued but not Required Skills and Experience:\nCertification or formal training in Reliability Engineering, Lean, Six Sigma, vibration analysis, thermography, lubrication, or condition monitoring.\nExperience with OEE, MES, TPM, autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance, early equipment management, or PLC and controls troubleshooting.\nPhysical Requirements\nWhile performing duties of job, employee is frequently required to:\nTalk, see, hear, stand, walk, and sit, and occasionally require manual dexterity; reaching; stooping; kneeling; or crouching to observe, attach, detach, or secure equipment.\nLift or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds \nWork occurs primarily on the manufacturing plant floor, in conference rooms and offices, and in bottling, warehousing, and storage areas. The environment may include moderate noise and climate-controlled or non-climate-controlled spaces.\nBenefits\nPaid Vacation\n11 Paid Holidays\nHealth, Dental & Vision eligibility from day one\nFSA/HSA\n401K match\nEAP\nMaternity/Paternity Leave\nHeaven Hill and its affiliates are committed to fostering a diverse workforce as an Equal Employment Opportunity company.
