The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across servers, virtualization, cloud platforms, storage, networking, backup, and infrastructure security, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure high availability and performance of critical systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise infrastructure environments.\nManage Windows Server and/or Linux systems, including patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.\nAdminister virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V, or equivalent technologies.\nSupport cloud and hybrid-cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.\nManage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related Microsoft infrastructure services.\nConfigure and maintain enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.\nSupport LAN/WAN infrastructure and coordinate with network and security teams when required.\nMonitor infrastructure availability, capacity, and performance and proactively address potential issues.\nImplement infrastructure security standards, access controls, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and patch management.\nTroubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents and perform root-cause analysis.\nParticipate in high-availability, disaster recovery, migration, upgrade, and infrastructure transformation projects.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, procedures, and operational standards.\nAutomate routine infrastructure activities using tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or infrastructure automation platforms.\nProvide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.\nWork closely with application, cybersecurity, network, database, and cloud teams to ensure reliable service delivery.\nFollow ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, change, and configuration management.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure/system engineering, including significant experience in enterprise environments.\nStrong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration.\nStrong experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or similar virtualization technologies.\nGood knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity/access management.\nExperience with Azure, AWS, or hybrid-cloud infrastructure.\nUnderstanding of enterprise networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.\nExperience with enterprise SAN/NAS storage, backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.\nKnowledge of infrastructure monitoring and management tools.\nStrong understanding of high availability, business continuity, security, and infrastructure best practices.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and root-cause-analysis skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in business-critical environments.\nStrong communication and stakeholder-management skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCertifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, VMware VCP, Red Hat RHCE, Microsoft, Cisco, or ITIL.\nExperience with infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Python, or Bash.\nExperience supporting large-scale, highly available enterprise environments.\nKnowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is an
