This is a hands-on engineering role where you will work closely with our Lead Software Engineer and founding team, take ownership of meaningful product features, and contribute across the development lifecycle, from implementation and testing through deployment and production support.\n\nThis role is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys solving challenging engineering problems, wants significant ownership early in their career, and is excited by the opportunity to build at the intersection of AI, video, and sports.\n\nWhat You'll Do:Design, build, and maintain frontend and backend components of our web application using React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and Python.\nOwn product features from implementation through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.\nBuild and maintain APIs and services supporting video processing, content management, user workflows, and data handling.\nIntegrate AI and machine learning services into production product workflows.\nHelp build reliable, high-performance video ingestion, processing, streaming, and encoding workflows.\nWork with real-time and high-throughput systems that process live and recorded video.\nBuild and maintain cloud infrastructure and services on GCP.\nMonitor production systems, investigate issues, and troubleshoot problems across the stack.\nOptimize application performance, reliability, and scalability as usage grows.\nContribute to CI/CD, testing, observability, and engineering best practices.\nCollaborate closely with engineers, founders, and product stakeholders to translate product requirements into reliable software.\nTake real ownership of what you build and proactively identify opportunities to improve our product and engineering systems.\n\nWhat We're Looking For:2–3 years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining production systems.\nStrong fundamentals in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and React.\nExperience building both frontend and backend applications in a production environment.\nExperience with cloud infrastructure and services, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or an equivalent platform such as AWS or Azure.\nStrong understanding of APIs, databases, authentication, and modern web application architecture.\nExperience deploying, monitoring, and debugging production software.\nSolid debugging instincts and the ability to reason through production issues under pressure.\nComfort working in a small, fast-moving team where you are expected to take meaningful ownership of what you build.\nFamiliarity with Python and an interest in working with AI/ML-powered applications.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\nStrong communication skills and a willingness to learn quickly.\nAn interest in sports, media, AI, or video technology.\n\nNice to Have:Experience with FFmpeg or other video/media processing tools.\nExperience with real-time or high-throughput data pipelines.\nFamiliarity with video streaming protocols such as RTMP, SRT, HLS, or DASH.\nExperience with Docker and containerized applications.\nExperience with serverless or microservices architectures.\nFamiliarity with authentication and authorization systems such as OAuth, JWT, or SSO.\nExperience integrating AI/ML models or APIs into production applications.\nFamiliarity with computer vision, multimodal AI, or video understanding systems.\nExperience working at an early-stage startup.\n\nWhat We Offer:The opportunity to
