We measure how effectively AI is applied to deliver results, and consistent, creative use of the latest AI capabilities is key to success here. Candidates should be comfortable adopting new models and modes quickly, integrating AI into their workflows, and continuously pushing the boundaries of what these technologies can do.

Additionally, we move at the pace of AI. Change is rapid, and you can expect your day-to-day work to evolve just as quickly. This may not be the right role if you’re not excited to experiment, adapt, think on your feet, and learn constantly, or if you’re seeking something highly prescriptive with a traditional 9-to-5.

Team Overview

Deepgram can only win the voice AI race with people who build fast and think from first principles, and the Talent team is how we find them. You'd join a team of recruiters supporting hiring across every function: engineering, research, product, go-to-market, and G&A. As Recruiting Coordinator, you'd run the operational engine behind every interview loop. You'd make each candidate's experience fast, clear, and human, and you'd automate the busywork so the team spends its time on people instead of calendars.

Key Goals

• Schedule interview loops within 2 business days of candidate advancement across all functions, with 90%+ SLA attainment

• Reduce average time-to-schedule by 25% by using AI and automation to streamline recurring coordination tasks

• Maintain 98%+ accuracy in Ashby across candidate stages, feedback, and dispositions to ensure reliable pipeline reporting

• Achieve 90%+ interview feedback submission within 24 hours through proactive nudges and interviewer follow-up

• Deliver a seamless candidate experience across onsite interviews, virtual loops, and travel logistics

• Identify recurring friction in the hiring process and recommend 2-3 actionable process improvements per quarter, with at least 1 implemented or piloted each quarter

Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Capabilities

• Manages many moving pieces (calendars, time zones, stakeholders) and keeps each one accurate

• Writes clear, warm candidate communication that builds trust at every stage

• Works AI-native and designs Human+AI workflows for coordination, not occasional AI use

• Builds templates, automations, or systems that remove recurring manual work instead of redoing it every time

• Keeps an ATS clean and reliable, and treats data hygiene as part of the job

• Prioritizes shifting requests with your manager and flags conflicts early

• Handles confidential candidate and interview information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications (nice-to-have, not required)

• Typically ~1-3 years in recruiting coordination, scheduling, or a similar operations role, or equivalent demonstrated experience

• Hands-on with Ashby or another modern ATS

• Has built an automation or AI-assisted workflow (e.g., Zapier, scripts, LLM prompts) that saved a team real time

• Experience supporting technical or high-volume hiring at a fast-growing company
